I'll probably end up getting this game early next year, especially if it comes down a bit in price.
My main concern is how it feels compared to other games I'm familiar with.
Such as does it drive as good as ACC or is it more like PCars2.
I've got thousands of hours on ACC but recently I've been messing around with PCars2 just to drive some tracks I've never been on and tbh it's not too bad.

Another question I have is what would I want with PMR. With ACC I was in league races most days a few years ago but that's tailed off but it also means I end up comparing racing games against ACC.
Or am I being a bit anal lol
It's definitely closer to ACC than it is to PCars 2, it doesn't have (for the most part) that drifty/slidy feeling PC2 always seemed to have. I say for the most part because some of the higher downforce cars are a little drifty at the moment, LMDh, LMP and some Group C. But I have found driving the GT3 cars very comparable to ACC and RaceRoom.

That's good to know, especially in GT3.
PCars2 seems to have a lack of ffb feeling under braking which is a bit odd.
I guess I'll just have to take the plunge and see haha

Can confirm as a Thrustmaster T150 user that the game lags horribly and is unplayable in game with the wheel hooked up.
Might be fixed with this hotfix.

It took a back seat for a few days with AC Rally and Evo but currently sat here a good few hours in after firing it up this afternoon and damn it’s good.
Should caveat that with when I first had triples I was using a 34in monitor with 2 27in and could never get nvidia surround to run in anything higher than 1080p.
Bought a third monitor exact same as the other two and even though I lost a few inches in main monitor width the benefits of 3 exactly the same is profound, can mount the main monitor just millimetres from from my wheel base and it makes a rather big difference in the FOV department. So I’ve now been enjoying this in 1440p now across 3 monitors and it is so good to drive right now, even managed to beat a couple of the times in the challenges section ( is it just me who thinks they’re a bit tough ?)
Currently about to race in a final in one of the career events in the MX-5 and it’s such a blast . Still a way to go and the graphics really are not very good after playing AC Rally 😂 but this has improved so much from the initial release it’s almost like a new game, absolutely loving the driving feel 👍🏼

Wow I'm super impress I just re downloaded it again to give it another chance after the recent update and this game feels way better.

The graphics look better then on launch.

The cars feel better to drive.

And the big one for me atleast is the Chase Cam FOV (Take note PD and add a damn FOV to your game nothing worst then driving in chase cam when the car feels like its 3 miles away from you BIG win here.

The Valkyrie is drivable that's a big plus what a unit of a car it is.

Favorite race car ever just like I love the road car and the AMR track car this final version of the Valkyrie is amazing.

Overall I'm happy with this game and It'll still install on my PS5.
