Well, Giant software is stingy, they even didn't gave review codes to smaller game portals...

And now they expect to people buy Year 1/DLC at full price...

At least, first one should be free.

Hello. Some time ago I decided to create a fictional track to expand the content of the tracks a bit. It's not a long track, it's +- 3.4km long and I currently have it set up for 20 cars max on the track. It's my first attempt at creating a complete track, so it won't be completely perfect, but...

So a screenshot has popped up on Reddit showing the driver info screen (where the individual circuit stats are) and there's rows named Takimya GP and Takimiya Short.

Searching for Takimiya in Google Maps pegs it right next to Okayama.

So it seems Okayama is probably going to be the circuit in the GT500 pack.

Nice to see a less common track being added (seemingly) , rather than the usual suspects 👍

Assuming you're in the UK, playing during the player peak. When I hop on from NZ, there's usually no-one on, I have to jump on during my work day if I want to actually race with people. The Falcon may change that, with Aus/NZ players it's a favourite, but until lobbies can be joined as spectators, it's always going to be hard to build a player base in my side of the world.

I really doesn't help that the game doesn't show lobbies that unable to be joined while they're on track.
It can look like a ghost town even though folk are racing online at the time.
It's something that needs to be addressed.
 
Im looking forward to the update and the DLC. It's funny, despite all its (many) issues and my vague distaste for Ian Bell I still have high hopes and a lot of goodwill for this game becoming what I'd hoped and see more positives than negatives on its trajectory so far. If this update is half what they're suggesting it'll be a big step in the right direction and, really, the latest in a long line of them. Game still isn't great but you can see the effort is going in. Which you certainly can't say for all titles with rocky launches.

Very much agree and while im also not fond of Ian Bell, im separating him from the devs because they're the ones who actually care and are the ones putting in the effort to improve the game. Very excited for the next update and DLC.

Can't risk starting something and then boom, everything is different. I imagine this sentiment is shared by more. GT500 are cool as hell and I look forward to the DLC.

Yeah i’ve held off starting career mode until 2.0 drops. I’ve mostly been hot lapping to get a feel for the cars and learn the circuits i’ve not driven before
