How long are you waiting?
Do you have a memory card?

From,
Chris.

Chris- Have memory card inserted but it doesn't make any difference.

Agent Smith - Message that appears is not Disk read error which is normal when the disk is scratched or damaged in some way.
Which is the safest way to clean or even adjust the lens?
Thanks for you help guys.
Cheers,

Nige

Are you using a slide card? if so, you have to remove that small thing in the right bottom of your ps2 (open your disc open thing) and then put it back, that has to help it.

Sorry for being ignorant in these matters, what is a slide card? Is it in the slimline version as that is what I have.

BTW Still no luck in making it work!!!!!!!:grumpy: :grumpy:

Turn the PS2 upside down CAREFULLY! I did that when my PS2 started doing that and it worked.

Cheers hadn't thought of that. Will give it a go.
BTW Is it possible the the problem is different from "Disc Read Error" as I had always thought that was a problem with the disc? Mine specifically says " No data".

Slide card is in the Slimline wich i use, but you don't need it to do what i said.
A slide card is used to play games on cd.
