Mine works fine. But I got this remote for it. You're supposed to be able to plug your controller into it and it dosen't work![]()

When I play DVD's on mine, I have to make sure that the PS2 is pluged directly into the TV. If I run it threw the VCR then into the TV the picture goes crazy. Lines, waves, and color disappearing. I thought it was the VCR, so I replaced it, but even with the brand new VCR, the picture still does the same thing.
It sucks, cause then I can't use my surround sound. When I play games, everything is fine! Weird!

I never knew that! Well damn! Is there nothing to get around this? If I knew RCA would have let that pass right threw, I would have bought a RCA VCR.

AV switches won't do anything to help your case, as the do not alter the signal in any way. There are a couple of devices that will remove macrovision protection from the signal.
Or you could install a modchip that removes macrovision protection (a few do, but not all.)
If your TV only supports coaxial cable, then try this:
I would get an RF modulator and a 2 into 1 cable splitter. (1 input, 2 output.)
Plug your Cable into the VCR.
Plug your PS2 into the RF modulator.
Turn the cable splitter around and plug the cable output from both the RF modulator and the VCR into it's outputs. Then plug the input out to the TV with another length of coaxial.
In theory, that should work perfectly.
