while doing the Laguna Seca TT,I experienced a weird thing and thought I would pass this along. After saving the best lap for my ghost, I decided to "delete" past saves, while in the "save" mode. This caused the ps2 to freeze. My lap was saved but did not register the time in the standings. Word of caution to everyone, delete files from the main card operations mode. I now always save the games after I save the best lap, had to re-run the TT after much frustration.

Yeah, you saved the replay but not the game. Not really "weird" so much as unfortunate (:

So have you finished the Time Trials yet? They're a real pain aren't they? But the Esperante makes it worth it. That thing is like a tank with a jet engine.
 
unfortunate ain't the word, but it got me pissed and I got first with 1.5 seconds off the lead time. almost done, struggling with the complex string now.
the esperante is a sweet car and I could just win it in the pro league but it's more satisfying that I played the game the way it was mean't to be played.
 
That happened to me the first week I had GT3. I saved the replay of getting all gold on the S License tests thinking it would save my game status. I had to redo six tests. Talk about getting pissed off...
