PS2 Memory card saves to USB device???????

Hey guys I have a Usb memory stick and I was wondering if it's possible to put my game saves on it? Thanks for any help

So I guess it would be storing the files in the max format. Is it still not possible to put the files in a USB drive? Is there some way that the ps2 would just recognize a normal USB drive plugged in?
