I tried to install a modchip last night and burnt my mother board and power supply.

However I am getting a new PS2 with a pre modded Messiah 2 chip which will allow me to play ANY game including GTC!!!!

Sorry to hear about your PS2.
I thought ours was about to buy the farm.
Then last nite the DS2 controller died. I found the new one I bought a while back, hooked it up and now the thing is working fine.

Thats exactly why I won't mod my PS2, out of fear of destroying a $300 dollar piece of equipment. I paid for it out of my own pocket, and don't have that kind of cash very often. But that really sucks man, that's money down the drain.

It was a very simple NeoKey it only has 2 soldering points and thats it!!!!!!!!

So let me get this straight.
You burnt a PS2, to be able to play GTConcept!!

I would rather play GT1 than GTC - it's got pretty graphics, but that is it.

Is it true taht once you mod your PS2 you can't play real games? I heard that PS2 games spin the opposite way that a normal cd-r does so when you mod it you can only play burnt games. I never looked into it and don't know taht much about anything so don't get all crazy on me...

No not true! It DOES NOT effect any gameplay or DVD movies at ALL!!!
