PS3 Broke

I was playing GT5 and my PS3 just went off. It turns on but then after a minute it either freezes or dies on me. Its a 60gig fatty. I have had it for about 3 to 4 years. Is it a case of a new part or a new PS3. Luckily i have time to back up my saves when i turn it on.

You can get it repaired by people. If you search around the net, you can find computer repair stores that also repair PS3s and other consoles for around $60 or less.

I fixed my own after getting the YLOD and it lasted for two hours before dying again lol!

Just bought a 320GB Slim instead, seemed easier lol!

I would probably see if you can get it fixed somewhere, if you're tech savvy you may even be able to do it yourself, the internet is a great resource for that.

However, I would also say be ready to buy a Slim in the future, from what I've seen once the fatties have problems they'll keep having problems.

It's only the red light of errr im abit ill may need a transplant so should be a simple fix
