PS3 Internet Problem

So I downloaded the update for GT5 and on the game when I get kicked off PSN. I've been trying to sign back in since last night and this morning, but it hasn't worked. My internet is just fine, its just my PS3 I seemingly have this problem as it won't get on the net or sign into PSN. What should I do?

I've had this before a couple of days ago, this is what I did which solved it (For me that is, it might work for you aswell).

Try restarting your internet modem/wireless router, depending what you use to connect your PS3 to the internet. Unplug it for about 30 seconds or 1 minute, then turn it back on and try connecting again.

If that doesn't work, I heard shutting off your PS3 and removing the power cable for a little bit helps aswell, but I never tried this myself.

Yup, same thing happened to me last night, right after downloading the patch.
I just reset my PS3 and modem and it seemed to sort itself out.
