I got to driver lvl30, get awarded the end movie prize, I click Ok, it stars to play then the Ps3 hangs, any ideas, its very frustrating, thank you, Lee

Be more descriptive please.
What do you mean "hang"?

Sorry for not being descriptive enough, after I click on ok, it goes to the GT logo to play movie, then does nothing else, i click on x and o then every other damn buton, nothing happens, even after a reboot, the same thing, ive deleted my progress and game data rwice now, any idea, thank you.

Further to my post, it is the extended end GT movie prize when my machine is non reponsive,
I click on the ok button, the screen goes blank the the GT logo comes up as if loading the video,
I then press 'X' to stop play, from then on the machine just sits there with a black blank screen, even after a hot shut down the award comes up again, the this vicious circle starts,
I then delete my profile and GT data, re-install and start again, about 4 times now,

Thank you,

Lee.

Might be your disc. Any scratches or smudges?

Hi Santos,

Just checked my disk, it is in as new condition, im thinking hdd read/write error?, have re-installed GT5 about 5 times now, with the same outcome at lvl 30 GT-TV mode long version of the end movie award,

Getting very frustrated,

Thanks,

Lee

Do you have a slightly earlier back up?
If so try playing on from there and see if it happens again.

Hi Sneakypete123,

Thanks for the help, but no data saved as I've wiped it all after I got so frustrated with this problem, I just keep on starting GT5 'B spec' again and again,

Thanks again,

Lee.

In case it's a problem with your disk where the movie should be stored on, I'd suggest trying this (you need a save where you can go to the start menu though): visit GT-TV and see if you can play or manually download the movie.
I'm not sure if it's possible though... the game might still try to read your disk and freeze at that point. But then you at least would know for sure it's your disk.
