Ps3 question

Hey everyone. I hope I have this in the right section. I'm wondering if I can use a small cheat cd in my chunky ps3? I want to use the disk but I don't want to ruin my ps3. If anybody knows, please tell me. Thanks.

What exactly does the CD do? And how come it puts your PS3 at risk of dying?

I very much doubt the PS3 will be able to have it inserted in the disk tray and just push it back out.

Not sure about Mini-CDs but looks like it can play mini-DVDs.

It is a cheat CD for ps2 racing games. & I don't want to put a small disk in if it would ruin it.

I would not risk putting a mini-disc in the PS3-phat or PS3-Slim.

If you have the new PS3-Super Slim it is fine.

I have one of the old original ones. It plays the ps1 & ps2 games which I like a lot. It's broken down a few times but I don't want to get rid of it.

You do not know how painful it is to open those bloody auto loading drives.

Had to do it on an Acer All in one(while not the same kind of drive that is in the PS3, it is an auto loader and same rules apply) and it took a few hours as i wanted to make sure i didn't damage anything as we had issues getting hold of that part from acer so we had to go for the fix it method.

Update: I tried the cheat CD today & it does work in the ps3.
