or you could wait? Did that ever cross your mind? The fact that you don't have to camp out
Most of those are opinionated aswell and if Halo is such a bad game because it's things we've seen before how do those games stand out?.
MGS, yes.. Groundbreaking visuals, considering only what? 8-12 games came out before it? Zone of the Enders had ground breaking visuals, and MGS had a horrible story once it came to PS2. if you think SOL Was a good game you're nootz.
Tekken, I was never a fan for it.. But it had a fan base I won't deny, but remember X box had DOA to combat it.How did Tekken have emotion?I don
DMC, the first was not challenging at all, although it was fun it was NOT challenginga little.
the 3rd was a tad more difficult, and had better visuals yes. But challenging is NOT the word to give to that series.
Jakk - Is an amazing series, and Jakk 2/3 is still a game I'm willing to buy a PS2 for.
Sly- Ok, it's a platform game wih CelShading? So was Jet Grind Radio, does that mean Sly was just a rehashed game?
Klonoa 2 - had great level design, but was done all before in both Mario 64 and Knights
If GT had such "Ground breaking visuals" how did they improve upon it a couple years later, on the same hardware?
Do you just want me to make you look like you don't know what you are talking about, or is it just involuntary behavior?
All of the games I mentioned were nothing of personal preference, and there are a few in the list I do not like, but that does not change the fact that they were successful, and great titles, regardless of my personal taste, if you let personal taste get in the way of your judgement then you can never EVER give an unbiased opinion.
So, let's make you look stupid now.
MGS - I stated series, both SOL and Snake Eater were ground breaking, and BOTH had great story's, with great twists and awesome character development. You personal taste though, clouds your judgement and creates your unfair bias.
Tekken - Again, you clearly state in your FIRST FEW WORDS a personal bias and opinion. Tekken is VASTLY deeper than ANY DOA game out, period. DOA is a shabby fighting system, the only thing that the game has that Tekken doesn't? Great online features. But Tekken has superior frame data, superior animation, superior fighting system. As for the emotion, it's very clear you haven't played Tekken 5, because all characters have AMAZING facial expressions, especailly considering they are on PS2 hardware. The lip sync, brow movements, smiles, frowns, everything is all done wonderfully, and that is how the emotion is displayed, much better than DOA as well, which is on "superior hardware" (which is also developed by an idiot named Itagaki who thinks boobs are the focal point of his game apparently).
DMC - I'll agree the first wasn't amazingly challenging...on easy or normal. And for you to say the third was only "slightly more challenging"...did you even attempt to play a harder difficulty rather than normal? Don't kid me, or blow smoke up my ---. Just judging from a persons comments, I will automatically assume you are not the most skilled action gamer here, and even those who are amazing with the DMC series will vouch that it is by no means an "easy game".
Jet Grind Radio was good, but the story was weaksauce, of course that could be personal opinion, so I won't go there.
As for GT, again I said SERIES. Both games are groundbreaking for PS2 visuals.
So please, if you continue to take my posts out of context for self gradification, or in order to make yourself come across as a slightly more intelligent individual, at least include some form of truth in your words, rather than speculation, opinion, and distortions. I haven't taken your words out of context, or misunderstood what you are trying to say, so please, do unto others.
*edit* As for Klonoa 2, mario 64 had good level design, but it was simple in comparison to Klonoa 2, but again maybe this is just personal preference, but I had a great time playing Klonoa, and the level design was just genius and flowed so smoothly while being so versitile, it was a great game, and an amazing platformer.
