Seeing as this was one of the most wanted additions to the XMB Sony have delivered with the cool Wallpaper feature. This thread is for those who have made some wallpapers for it Please upload them anyway you can, a leave a small version and please state what resolution you are putting it for. 1080p 720p Ect even tho I don't think it make any difference

One I made based on my music alias Synapses, its for 1080p screens but im sure if anyone wanted it for 720p I could accommodate, not sure if anyone would like it anyway.

I think its a cool idea. Right now I'm using pics from GT5:P. The one with the R8 in the car selection screen. It would be nice if you could set up wallpapers for 7 days of the week to change automatically.

or set it like a Mac to cycle through images every few seconds.

haha, I had the exact same idea, it would be a good thing and wouldn't be hard to fix that quickly, hopefully sony will add that in later patches!

I hate Macs, but ya the wallpaper feature is one that I was expecting from the start. When i first plugged it in and realized that there was no changing the background i was a little disappointed but Sony seems to have fixed that.
 
Its from the 24 Hours of Nurburgring...I think its from the hairpin on the F1 course.
 
Well i use these on my 360, so will probably use them on my Ps3 aswell. I cycle through about 3 pic's every now and then. '

Also have a Really nice Porshe 911 with aftermarket wheel's(Black with Chrome Lip) And a few other Pic's, including one i made, with tatu, cradle of filth, an R34 and a pic of my 360, but there not on the computer anymore(My Grandad "accidently" Deleted them:()

Was going to upload the full size one's but i can't make thumbnail's so these will do lol

Anyway, excuse my ignorance but how does this wallpaper thing work? Just put the pic on a thumb drive and say use this as my wallpaper?

I found this site (http://misterslimm.wordpress.com/tag/hd/) Which has heap's of great 1080P wallpaper's, such as car's and heavenly sword etc.
 
I get my backgrounds directly from the web browser. googling wallpapers is fast way to find some and save it to photos.

I have no idea... the file name says "Shaiya_Light_And_Darkness" and Yes... that last pic is a stunner!

I did a quick search and found this gallery of shots for "Shaiya: Light and Darkness", and it includes some 1600x1200 shots that could be cropped and enlarged for 1920x1080. 👍

BTW: That wallpaper I posted is a bit of a tease, as there are currently no bikes in GT:HD, nor have I heard of any plans for bikes to be included in GT5:Prologue, but I do recall reading somewhere that PD was at least originally planning on including bikes in GT5 (basically combining GT and TT).

With PGR:4 confirmed to have bikes (in fact it will allows bikes and cars to race against each other, which is a fantastic feature IMO), I suspect this will encourage PD to follow through and add bikes to GT5, and maybe GT5:P or a future add-on to GT5:P, and possibly even a future updated version of GT:HD. 👍
 
Thank's DN, yea i remember them showing the GT:HD demo with the vehcle selection screen with about 5 bikes and 15 car's, then a pic of them going around the Grand Canyon lol.

Anyway, Back on topic, I Should be buying a Ps3 Tomorrow night:D:D:D!!!!

My Ps2 has now just had a bid placed on it, so i now have about $800 to look around for one, and i know of one in my city for $750 with need for speed carbon:D Woohoo!!!

Sorry that wasn't really back on topic either...HMMM...Do you like car, People(chic's), nature or abstract wallpaper's?

Those probably wont work very well, seeing as how the text on the xmb is white, it will be hard to see. Well at least on the first and fifth ones.
