Welcome to the draft of this championship. I'll in short post the main features of the serie at the current time.

I'm open to suggestions, so let me hear your voice.

Current NON definitive ruleset

2 races format

race 1 30 mins after a 15 minutes qualy

race 2 is 60minutes with manually reversed grid during first lap. Race starts at last corner, no overtaking before finishing line on lap 1.

points for race 1 goes 16 to1
for race 2 32-30-28.... to 2
1 point for pole in race 1

Day of choice: Monday

All cars allowed. Chosen car must be kept all season.

Drivers will race for both driver's championship and teams championship. Teams must be formed of drivers using the same car.

Low: Gt86 rocket bunny

Calendar may be Prone to major changes:

Dubai International
Imola
Laguna Seca
Watkins Glen Short
Donington National
Oulton Park International
Hockenheim GP
Oscherleben National
Zolder

I like the look of this Karsten, nice track selection. I'd love to join but I can't as I sold my PS4 & all my games. I needed the cash so I could put it towards a gaming PC & Project Cars. The only regret I have about that is that I miss out on series like this. Secretly I'm hoping one day you all will make the switch also.
By the way McGerty is @Over Active Allstyles is @Bjorn Lucas Aletdownof state is @Riggy Night is @Jeremy White and Sven is @svenvangent sorry I don't know the other's GTPlanet names. Good luck with the series mate.

Seems i'll really need a ton judging by how many have been gone from PCars lately... :D

Too bad you switched to PC; i was a PC gamer and i'm not sure you took the best path, it's like the dark side of the force lol

I guess it's a case of far away fields are greener. I was getting too many crashes on PS4, it was getting to the stage where I'd get a crash in every session so I eventually had enough & made the switch. Oh the darkside always had cooler bad guys anyway.

If anyone else reading this is considering taking part I would say go for it. Karsten has experience of running championships & is a good clean driver as are the guys tagged in the 2nd post. I'd join if I could.

I'll hope interest will raise, else I guess the only way would be room filling with Ai or forgetting about pcars since it seems most people are leaving it...

I saw interest lowering dramatically after they announced custom championship would not come...

Hi, i'm quite new to PCars but would like to give this a try.
Awhh yeahh. Teammate confirmed.

EDIT

Oh aye, I'm all for the parade/warmup lap in race 2 (and 1 for that matter) but I think the reverse grid thing should be binned. Done it before, more hassle than it's worth, people are idiots.

Can we have time progression and stuff too? 5x for an hour race is pretty good and night racing is always fun.

All will be setted to REAL.

If our racers are serious I can't see problems with reverse grids... Used manual grids for ages in gt5 and 6...

In any case such things can be fixed at a later time if there enough interest.

Interested, maybe @rclark83 also?

8pm GMT would suit me better.
Wouls suit better or only suit you at that time? :D

BTW all interested drivers should state what time they can, or cannot race so we can find a good middleground that will satisfy all drivers.

So far:

Me: both 7 or 8
@TDZdave 7pm
@Glenalz81 preferred 8pm
@Riggy TBC
@McDastardly TBC
@filipino1234 TBC
@Kjeld Lund (interested?) TBC
@rclark83 (interested?) TBC
@HammyMansell (interested?) TBC

i renew my invite to tell other drivers about this :) Let's see if we can start by the end of january or early february

I would be intrested but my work hours are all over the road during the weekdays. Over here 8 GMT is 2pm local time for me. Looks cool.

I'm finding it hard to pick between the Ginetta and the M3, both handle great!

@azidahaka I would prefer 8pm as a start time. At the moment Monday seems to be my day off, but when it isn't I'm working until 6:30pm and end up staying later than that fairly often so would likely miss race 1 if it was a 7pm start.

EDIT

What assists is the series going to be?

Real assists :) I'll write it down so far seems 8PM would suit most/all drivers

Groovy. Just done some testing with @McDastardly around Dubai International in the Ginetta. Looking fairly likely that I'm going to be in that, really stable and pretty quick too. What's a decent time around there in the GT4's? I got a 1:43.4 at one point, looking for a benchmark time.
