AKA Bimmerkid..

I've been in quite a slump recently..

Jpec, you are against a ricer, is THAT simple. you can do something WAY better and ABSOLUTELY more interesting than that ugly thing in there. anyway, I think you have my vote even if you didnt do nothing interesting, because, damn -__- that is ricy and ugly. and we all know that maybe that thing will win, but, at least for me, it is :yuck:

Cano, shut the **** up with that crap. Aren't we allowed to chop the way we want? You're always criticising everyone that "rices" everything, even when the said thing isn't ricey.

You should stay polite with everyone. You don't like it when someone criticises your work, don't you? Same thing for everyone. People chop differently, and people vote differently. If we were all doing the same thing, it wouldn't be necessary to run contests.

I thought that comment was out of line, and misjudged. Obviously your purpose here is to critique everyone that adds a spoiler or a carbon-fiber'esque hood on his car while maintaining a clean look, while all you do is stretch bodies and add the same set of Cragar wheels to every car you lay your hands on.

ah, the stretch body thing. yeah, I think I have overdone that hahaha, I have said so before, but its because I want to excercise those designs a little. Id like to get some more parts on wich to work with some muscle cars, but given the ammount of time I have, I really cant do as much. Id like to modernice them more. on the other hand, well, I dont know what Im gonna do with the next car that'll drop by my hands. hey, I just dont have anything against carbon fiber hoods or bbig ass wings, but its the same thing over and over again, and dont you come and tell me they are "escercising"something... that is all some people venture to do!! an example of a good "ricer" if I may call it that way is, well, donbenni, who at least tries to change someting on his cars, and you, who always do clean chops and you both usually venture to do something really interesting on yer cars, likeyour NSX-reared vette, or the gullwing mini of Don. Jpec and keitshi work on their cars real cool, and, for example, in this weeks golf chop it seems that everyone is really putting some imagination on the chops. everything there is in there doesnt resemble a golf!!! there is a pickup, something that is a holden and something that looks like a sports car. and I dont even have an idea of what Im gonna do with it!!! and now I think that IS really cool! poeple arw showing some imagination in this week, and that cant be nothing but positive. I love them all!!! then in comes this. yeah, I know you can always chop the way you like it, but alas, I can criticize it the way I want. OK, I wasnt polite on that one, and im sorry to Ryan (whoever you are :P) but its... a little dissapointing when you see something like this, even more so when it comes from a guy who has won two damned weekly pscs. hell, come on man, I know JUST because of that that you can do seomthign better. I really think its ugly and witpout any imagination (you didnt have time? o.O) so, Jpec, well, he always tries something. I hope he goes though something cool in this battle. I think you, better than all people in here, punk rock, and as everyone in here, agrees with me that a n interesting chop is usually admirable, and is always good inspiration for the entire community, I know you are always on the look for some interesting, creative things. you did on the back to the future car, and on every chop that departed member Artifice posted. so did everyone here. yes, I accept that I was a bit disrrespectfull on that post, so I apologize to Ryan, but I also tell him that I think his chop is ugly and that he can do something better and more interesting with that car!!! it can be made into something weird there oO and he has the skills!! he has proven it!!! that is all im saying, I am agressive sometimes, but, meh, im not at all bad... well, at least I think im not.

It's supposed to be a drifter. So, in my book, it's not rice because it serves the purpose it's supposed to. Would it be un-riced if I took the Signal stickers off?

-Ryan

By the way, I was formerly known as Bimmerkid. :p

WTF

I don't know, I thought it was cool and obviously it was, because it won the contest. Now that you mention it, the hatchback does look a little strange..

You see, Ryan has a chance. Although he does rice it, he does a good job at it (I could just out-rice him, but that would be ugli...). I think I'll take a cleaner approach to this competition. Nothing too drastic, just enough to beat that (well done, too bad not everyone here likes rice).

hey, I never said it wasnt well done, its really well blended, the color is weird but looks good, even the sticker in the window looks gennie. but I think its ugly!!! >.<

Cano

er... >.< lately, rice to me has meant any part that is sticked to the body of a perfectly good car. wings, bodykits, carbon fiber, even mirrors, of the fart can exhaust, or a hole in the hood, everything like dat... I know it may not be, I know it might be really tastefull, but for me, well... you remember the red integra in punk rocks avatar of some weeks ago? that car had NOTHING but a grreat stance and a COOl set of wheels. and it was ABSOLUTELY perfect like dat. no stickers, not even a small wing. discret exhaust. factory body (the front fascias were the stock ones?)... well, you get the picture. that car was just PER-FECT. it had nothing to interrupt its celan bodylines. it had nothing that interrupted its RED paint. no CF. no pretentious intercooler poking through the bumper. no big-ass exhaust. nothing. it was perfect. I love how imports look that way. Id really drive such car proudly. it looks great. that is the way I like them. with NOTHING on the body. but yeah, maybe im the only one who is real weird not to like a CF hood or stuff like that in here.

LOL hes been having problems with apostrophes and commas :p
and i think pr and cano should just chill, lets all just do what this forum was made for, chopping cars. lets just ease out the criticism and watch the battle.

ok, grammar lesson. an apostrophe is something that takes two words and makes them one; like We'll means we will and I'm means I am. Well means something similar to good. Just thought I'd point that out...

yeh, it's not due til tuesday and the weeklies have all but drained my creative juices. if someone wants to jump-start me (give me a little idea or two...) then I'll have abetter chance at this...

I'm in the critical stage; no idea where to begin my chop with only a day left (I'll post the poll tomorrow evening).

no, I'm past my ricing stage. I'm thinking more of making it like the CLK-DTM from GT3...
