PSC: Weekly PSC Week 74

This is one messed up Benz, and the thing is; it's at a nearly perfect chopping angle. If I can find some time on Friday and Saturday I'll work it until it's done (could take the whole day).

Nice! 👍 I quite like the show bonnets, it looks good on the Merc. Looking forward to seeing it done, could well be another + vote for me.

Not paticularly happy with the result, but it's not the worst chop i've done. Still, supposed to be a kinda race car. Would've added more graphics if i had the will to. Sorta finishing it early.

Suzq, a lot of work has gone in to front, you might just not see it. I had to move the whole grille down because it wouldn't work otherwise. And as I said, it's still a WIP.

Minorke, that chop is amazing... Almost certainly a vote from me, looks great.

72ElCamino, what is the point of that? Sort of looks squashed, not too good.

Donbenni, I love that carbon! It looks incredible. Looks very nice so far, but the front bumper is blurred, doesn't really fit in with the quality of the rest of the car. Apart from that, very nice chop.

not bad on the CF one- on the windshield tho.. looks like bigger CF there.. like the size of what u used on the body.. not bad tho:

and for the other purple benz- not bad for a newb- looks like u did the wheels, the color,shaved (doors gas & a bit of the mirror area) nice job looks like the headlights are a little dark tho.

@ glacier, your concept I've seen before; cfing an entire body. Quite frankly the idea is a good one, but there are very few people who can pull off a hood correctly; let alone the entire body. However, you have, for the most part, done fairly well. There are still parts, though, that are in need of help. For example, the part on the windshield frame where the lines of cf become more apparent than the grainy part, that could stand to be fixed. I don't know if you just used an enormous swirl on the car to try and get the effect you wanted, but from where I sit it turned out pretty good.

The CF one... maybe try decreasing the opacity of the weaving.. seems abit too much to me..

Thanks for the comments, in order to get the effect I wanted, I did each piece seperantly. The fender, the door, the hood, etc. I do notice how a couple parts do have huge grain. I am overall happy with it, considering my it was my first try at this.

Sad that there are only a handful of participants and the poll is late...

EDIT: I take that back, there are alot more entries than I thought (seems that the majority of the posts on these 4 pages hold chops). And I wasn't complaining about the poll being late (sorry if that's how it sounded), I was trying to make the point that people haven't taken advantage of the lateness to try and post up their entry last minute (even though they may have).
