@super_fla

You use a G25? i'm using a dfp and I was actually pretty good in gt4 but for prologue demo I can't seem to get used to the 900*. Do you have any tips that could help me? Il train alot and hope we could do a drift session later on. I also noticed ( in prologue demo ) that throttle control is more important than past GT games. Wich is good because gt4 was very easy to drift.

Now i'm drifting in Forza 2 ( wich is very very easy, i can drift pretty much anything with total control ) and i'm working on a film for a film festival at school wich will be about this guy who gets expelled from professional racing league and starts racing in the streets and discovers the art of drifting.

Maybe some of you could help me get some nice footage from GT5 prologue. That would be greatly appreciated.

me also used to play with DFP in gt4 , infact i won GT4 championship in my country 2 years ago using DFP. after that just before the release of GTHD i get the G25 and using it till now at GT5P.

OK

the big control difference between the two games (GT4 Vs GT5P) is that GT5P need more focus on the throtle and so much momentum can be build unlike GT4.

the more important thing is the difference between the DFP and G25:

in my opinion its almost impossible to have fun while drifting using DFP thats because counter steering in no way near realism, let me explain that : when you initiate a drift you need to counter steer by leting off you hand of the wheel and the steering rotate by it self till the right moment the grap it again controling a drift,

in DFP the steering rotate (by it self) isn't enough. its slow compare to real life situation , i know that because i drift from time to time in real life

conclusion : get G25 it'll help you a lot i learning and having fun . i tried alot of steering wheels , but nothing compare to the G25

about the footage you may wanna see my GT5P drift video in the other thread here https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=100692

or you may wanna see me in real life drift , you choose:)

either way both videos shows the same car :)

peace

I will try getting a G25 in the next couple months. And wow i'm amazed at how similar both cars ( real life and GT5 P ) react when drifting. You seem to have the same angle in the game and real life.

For the footage, i was thinking about gt5 prologue online actually ( if you don't mind ) and i'm also inviting anyone who would like to join. Sync drifting would be ideal and having someone to follow behind for camera would be awesome.
