Wow. Looks amazing, PSP looks even better in video than it does in pictures.
I cant wait untill I can hold one in my hands.
Thanks for the heads up on the videos, would have missed them if you didint post em here.
I just got a mail telling me mine is now shipping ... I might have it before christmas! (ok that wasn't cheap I'll admit). Will report here as soon as I have it. Any other early adopters?
I'm looking for a video in PSP format. I read that it is capable of playing videos off the memory stick in MPEG-4 format. To play around and have a look, I'm trying to find a video already in the format the PSP would play it.
All I've found so far are videos where somebody filmed the PSP playing videos, and that's not what I am looking for. What I'm trying to find is the actual video that plays on the PSP itself. Now I don't care about the filesize or the content, I just want one of those vids. Any ideas?
I would also be satisfied if somebody can give me precise data on the audio and video format of those videos, meaning the resolution, data rate, used codecs and so on. Or can somebody give me a hint where to get a free version of the Sony "image converter 2"? A trial version would be enough...
EDIT:
I have found a chap that led me to a walkthrough how to convert a video to the format the PSP can read. So I don't need any sample vids anymore. The vids on UMD and on the memory stick are different though, so if you ever get your hands on one of those UMD videos, drop me a line please!
