Never !!
Could'nt find anything related to this subject,so please don't hate me :scared:
Boxing movies are great, and my faves have to be the Rocky series. Does anyone have any better ones to add?

The Power of One is one of the best Boxing Movies that I've seen.

There was a movie called Gladiator, not the Russel Crowe version, that starred Cuba Gooding Jr. and Brian Dennehy, which was pretty good. Also check out Diggstown, where Lou Gosset has to fight like 20 fighters in a row non-stop! Both pretty good "little-known" boxing movies.

Rocky III was good for Mr. T alone, but I grew up with Rocky IV, so Ivan Drago was always my favourite!

That link is to exactly the movie I was referring to, Alex.

It's a bit altruistic, but I thought it was pretty good.

"Diggstown" is also pretty good, if somewhat comical.

Which movie is the one you were referring to? I thought you named "The Power Of One" in your post...is it the same movie as Gladiator?

I thought the match in Snatch (that rhymes!) was really good. The slow motion shots of the fight mixed with interepsersed sped-up shots gave a real sense of the sweatiness and dirtiness of two men trying to render each other unconscious. The snarling dog-like sounds heard when they tussle also added to the animalistic feel of the fight.

But what really makes the scene attractive is when Brad Pitt gets an uppercut which sends him first flying into the air off his feet, and then plunging to the mat. Not only does he hit the canves hard, he actually sinks into it, and finds himself "underwater." The symbolism is pretty clear here, and gives somewhat of a sense of what it feels like to have your block knocked off...
