So how is this going to work? Me and Brandofo appear to have the exact same lap times :lol:

My best guess is he'll have the place infront due to qualifying earlier?

My line's messed up once again. Well it was a solid few months of smooth sailing but yesterday's power outage threw a wrench in my system so now they're sending out a tech to fix it (typing from my phone) at just when the race will be starting...

Wow, what is it with your luck, do you waste it all at the casinos or something? lol I was looking forward to racing with you again, it's been a long time since the last one.. Maybe you could try again tonight, nothing to lose after all.

And thanks guys, that lap was something else, I was on the absolute edge driving around the track, and it was incredibly surprisingly considering the best I did in the practice laps beforehand was a 31.6. Didn't feel like I could go any faster than that.

Edit: Currently it's also a 1st and 2nd place for Mazda Heritage Club. Well done Cicua! Let's hope it stays like that ;)

Just wondering, are we qualifying on the normal version of the track or the weather version? I remember there being differences in grip between the two versions of the La Sarthe track in WSGTC, both dry.

You'll get the lead spot since you are ahead in points.

With the weather settings I'd be quite surprised if you see rain at all, however the one time I did see rain in a practice session, after 30 mins of consistent rain, the track was only 2% wet. Sport softs should be all that is required :)

do we have an answer to this? As rain tyres might be faster than the sports softs, not sure tho.

however the sports tyres have tread yes? So they should work in the rain or does gt5 not work like that lol?

SS tire work in the ran up to 50-60% after that it is a D1 drift battle.

Yeah sport tires are fine upto about 60% then rain tires start to become the better option. Sport are still driveable upto about 80% but they're pretty much useless at 100%, I'd be pretty surprised if we seen anything more than 20% surface water in the race. But stranger things have happened :p

If you are not in the room by the time we get to your grid spot, you'll have to start at the back unfortunately. We can wait until about :55.

Depends on what happens after the reset. At the moment with the correct settings it's just lightly overcast.

Edit: Still missing a bunch of people. Try to be in the room in the next ~ 20 minutes or so please. :)
 
I didn't qualify but I'm in the room at the moment can I have a provisional or do I have to notify earlier if I'm doing that?

And Jesus people.... it's not week 1... learn the rules so you don't have to ask stupid questions to race control and cause other drivers to be on the wrong tires and ruin their race.

Most frustrating race day I've ever had.

I fully expect half fields for the last couple races. Just the way it goes unfortunately. Worst part is people don't even let you know they can't race anymore, they just leave and never come back. :(

wasssup Turbo and the Pure/Flyin Miata crew, im available for Division 2 race on Sunday, and the remainder of the season, hoping to trade alil paint and get passed alot...my new hours at work has change and now have Sundays off. I'm done with BF3 since Brosif doesn't play anymore (must be that new patch)
Let me know Please Turbo because i still need to download the car and track.....Dont worry about me, I have a case of Red Bulls and tonight and i will have the car broke in and track learned by 6am tonight!!!

Only time I've seen it is when I B-Speced the endurance races. In other words, yes, but it takes quite a while.

went from blue sky to typhoon in the 3 minutes we were gridding;
the first 1 lap was a disastrous mess; dodge several accidents to get caught in the last one; caution; people didn't understand the pit rules so we had to slog around behind the safety car for over 10 minutes of needless talking to RT; about to the point where it became dangerous to be on sports; pit for rains on 6; oh sweet I'm a minute behind; bored, bored, spin, bored, bored, bored, spin, eff this.... pretty much sums it up.

Watched the rest of the race, was the least interesting spec miata race I've ever seen.

edit... and now my ps3 is still sitting on a black screen so I suppose it's locked up; awesome. 👍

p.s. sorry to be a sour puss but this is the only time I've ever rage quit something so... been a frustrating day. :/
 
Least enjoyable race ever. SC car on lap 1 and everyone change to rain tyres except 3 mortal souls who then have to wait until lap 6.

When I finally got out on the right tyres I was 1:25 behind. In most laps I gained on the leader, but what is a second here and there when it is screwed like that from the start.
