150km races shouldn't be too bad. Running 150 km races with gt500 cars took roughly 45-50 minutes.
 
Yeah we used to run 175 most of the time to make an hour, at these speeds though, 150 should make it.

I'm gonna be practicing later tonight guys, hope to see some of you on, feel free to friend me on PSN if you haven't already.
 
Sort of, exact spec's will be posted later today, but they'll be quite close to the WSGTC spec's yes.

I'm not expecting to do well tomorrow. Haven't had much time to practice. I've been working on my wheels for my Integra. Polishing the lip of a wheel is time consuming.

I've been having problems with my ps3 also. I bought ps plus and stored my info online in case it bites the dust. It keeps freezing up when loading. Sometimes in the gt menus, the music stops playing. Just a minute ago it froze when I tried taking a car to do the speed test at Route X. It's really aggravating and part of the reason I haven't practiced. Sometimes when I'd try practicing in my lounge, it'd freeze when trying to change event settings or car restrictions. And I've been experiencing frequent disconnections also.

Any recommendations as to what I should do? Hopefully I don't need to buy a new ps3. Do I need to replace the hard drive? I have a spare from a used laptop.
 
I had this problem with menu music a little while ago. Once it goes off nothing loads in the menus be it car changing, buying a car or trying to go into seasonals ect and if you try to it freezes the game. I fixed it buy buying a new GT5 disk for £20 as it got so annoying that I needed a new disk :nervous:.

To answer you, it was the disk causing it for me as i've had no problems since throwing the old disk out.
 
Sorry to get around your conversation guys but i think 4 or 5 more guys in Room B would be a great thing. Don't hesitate to sign up ;)

I'm GMT +1 during the winter.. But not sure about this one.

Reason why I ask is because I'm planning on joining the race in a BMW, but I start work at 22.00 my time.. So it's probably not doable..

How long will the race be? 45 min? 1 hour?

Nevermind.. Can't make it.. :(

I'm +2 during summer and +1 during winter. Exactly the same as you.
22.00 for you = 20.00 UTC. So you're right, it's not doable for you :(

Thanks. My disk isn't scratched but I'll make sure it's clean. It may be smudged or something. I left my house but before I did I left it reformatting the hard drive. Figured why not try it. Hopefully I get it figured out. If not, I probably wont race tomorrow.

Litchi, I probably should have re-quoted the sign up, but I was switching to the FTO for testing, too. (Send me a tune! :sly:)

Also OK with helping fill out room B if needed. I thought we weren't running the MR-S? Do we need a victim/volunteer there?

IIRC I ran 1:53.5 on the third lap in both the Lexus and Celica, followed by a 54.4 (4th or 5th lap) in the FTO @ 325/1050.

I'm horrible at GVS. Best so far was a 56.0xx. I expect to be slow at Laguna also. Not one of my best tracks. I'm looking forward to Fuji and Suzuka. The track I'm dreading is Cape. It gives me a headache.

The thing about Cape Ring is, when you do finally get it, and start nailing laps down, it's incredibly rewarding, vs nailing a lap at Monza. (Not that I don't enjoy Monza, I do)
