That would be awesome! I'd probably stick to Sundays myself but it would be great and I think it would solve our popularity "problem."

Also, Steve, PUT UP THE LOGO >:D

I'd be willing to Host Saturdays. As well gather all info for book keeping.

When I get home from work tonight, I'm going to make up a PM and send it off to everyone who's registered. It'll basically be a role call to see who plans to show up this weekend and beyond. I'll also put in something about the Saturday series. I'll come up with details about it and run it past you two.

See you after midnight!

Yeah I like racing on sunday too :D, just with the endro races and me needing to get up really early on monday. Saturday would probably be better but I can do sunday if not enough people want to a Saturday race.

So were racing this weekend then?

Hmm, it would be kind of strange though to start a second day at the last minute, but not. You'd just have to keep two different points tables, and if you were to start the Sunday series this weekend and start the Saturday one the next, for example, then the Saturday series would always be one race behind in the schedule. That's not a big deal, but prepare for confusion.

I might actually go for Saturday myself. Seems to be open more often, what time would it be if there were a Saturday room?

I could do Saturday if it's early (before 2PM EST)... probably not going to have time on Sunday though. Those GT500 cars wear me out. :/

I was kinda thinking evening towards night Saturday myself.

8-10pm start time. Prefered. Would be ok with 6-10pm. Any earlier is hard to make.

Honestly, my initial thoughts when it was brought up were that it would simply be a mini-series for the guys who can't make the Sunday races.

But now, with the online bug and all, if we basically do what we did in the last FMSC season, with the Sunday series and the Saturday series, being completely seperate, limited to 12 drivers each, then the top drivers from each series compete in a final race to determine the final champion.

If we were to do that, I'd likely completely scrap 4-lap live quali, and basically copy the FMSC format, with a 15 minute session before the race, followed by a 45 minute race.

Thoughts?

Let's look at the entries first, see who wants Saturday, see who wants Sunday. What if there's more than 12 people who wanna do one specific day? I say we set it up now and tell people to add their names to a list to Saturday/Sunday-

But we're getting rid of pre-race quali. for FMSC 4...

We can definitely do the same divisional system from FMSC 3 but the qualifying's gotta... stay ahead not fall behind, in a sense. Making the roster first come first serve diminishes the competitive value of the series in my eyes so I'd much rather have live-quali.

First come first serve? What does that have to with a vote on Saturday or Sunday? Unless you plan on doing both. If that's the case then doing what I said makes sense and you can still have the weekly qualifying.

Yeah, I know and I agree (at Wardez). This whole thing is just really complicated. The online glitch makes things even worse.

I think the way I was planning it before (JGTS-style quali, Integra-style race) was perfect. I really don't want to change that. We can have a race on Saturday, but I think it should just be a fun, non-points race for those who can't race on Sunday, or just want some extra practice.

Excuse me for flip-flopping on this. :nervous:

Change that to the same week-long quali format and I think it sounds great.
Basically just like FMSC, but instead of 3 divisions in one day, 2 divisions, one Saturday, and one Sunday. :)

"Just for fun for people who can't make Sunday" to me, spells low attendance, no offense.

I say Saturday shouldn't be just a 'fun day' but official, apart of the series. Keep the weekly qualifying and w/e else but at least comprise a list of who wants what day.

👍 i like that

Just to clear the confusion, "apart" is generally used as another term for "separated", whereas "a part" is, well, a part of something.👍
