I HAVEN'T FINISHED 1 PMRC RACE ON THE LEAD LAP....
[/rant]

OK, Great race Wardez. I'm glad I had the chance to race you for the first 6 laps.......

That was every bit as awful as I had feared. I never liked La Sarthe in the first place. Top it with lag, gfx stuttering in every corner and lack of tyre noise, I just could not concentrate. Had so many missed brakepoints, and three complete offs. :yuck::yuck::yuck:

On the good part, nice and clean racing from everyone 👍

Its also less funny. (Ah man it ran out of go juice :banghead:, compaired to aww s:censored:t ive lost it.. *bang* :ouch:)

Hope you guys had fun and I hope next week im fast enough to race :nervous:.

Going into todays race, with how down on pace I was in practice, I decided it was going to be one of my drop races and promptly let everyone by in the first corner. I just didn't want to deal with the headache of being in "the big one".

Just could never make up the time and put an end to my misery in the last corner by throwing the car into the wall. Made me feel a little better.

Never have liked this track, never will.

You just said exactly what I was going to say. Loved the driving from you guys, hated the freakin game for ruining the race for many!! The lag was too much. Well done to Wardez, and lucky me for grabbing 2nd place. :D

RT dont blame the car, blame the track. What did the poor car do to deserve such a fate .

Running out of tires is scarier than running out of gas.

You're joking right?

That tire noise was because of the weather being turned "ON" and "OFF"
Happens every time.

You mean,
reset track => all ok, but
reset track, weather on, weather off => lost tyre noise
??
Strange, but good to know.

I blame the game, seriously. Not the car, not the track. Even PS1 games had better frame rate than that start

RT you know your lieing unless your driving a Miata (Mx5) or a Nissan your not happy :p.

If you think this car has too much power, go drive the GT500s. They are much worse.

This cars perfect. Enough power to be fun and dangerous. Looks like I didn't miss much today with the sounds of things.

Lol, I guess all this time practicing driving on mute 'cause I talk to my girlfriend on Skype at the same time has paid off xD.

Thanks guys, was a great race, I'll make a little report on it later.

Now you know why you never see me driving in Super GT series or LMP series. :sly:

Whatever, race is done with and I'm dropping it so on to something else.

Start was okay. Don't recall if I had tire noise or not. If there was lag, I wasn't aware of it. Car still pushed, as usual, with the draft and I all but lost the lead draft a few times. After the first stop, it was just me and Wardez and stayed that way for quite a while.

However, I apparently didn't put enough fuel because after what I thought was my last stop, my heart sunk when I saw how low the gauge was. That distracted me enough for a small off entering the Porsche curves. Mattered even less because I had hards and Wardez had meds and went by me anyways. Had to pit again on Lap 20 and went back to the meds, dropping to 6th.

However, I got lucky because carra ran out of gas (felt really bad for you when I went by), CSL had... something happen to him and I flew on by. Finally, on the last lap, I caught up to Litchi and made a daring pass at Maison Blanche. I appropriately bungled Ford chicane but held on to 3rd. That alone made me forget about the self-inflicted mistakes.

Even if I did everything right, I probably didn't have enough to win. My guess is that I would have finished about 10 seconds behind.

Just so you all know, I'm 95% sure I'm skipping race 4.
Tsukuba Circuit is one of my worst tracks and with this car I will more than likely take someone out before I finish lap 2......

yeah, too much power for that track

Thanks for the clean battle at the end there. I knew when I passed you that I did it too early. I could have had a better run at the end there towards Porsche, but you made that car pretty wide. Didn't help that my tires were pretty much toast, and that missed brake point at the end that caused me to cut that corner, so I gave you the spot back, then promptly threw the car into the pit wall.

I'm going to be the first to suggest moving the race to a different venue. Tsukuba just isn't suited for cars of this caliber.

After watching the replay, I definitely did not get enough gas on the first stop, I think I was too focused on bumping up the brightness and moved the gas option too far down.

Oh, and here's the pass for 3rd I referred to. To be fair, Litchi's tires were worse off than mine but I still felt good at pulling this off.
