That's exactly the sort of information I'm looking for. :)
Camera didn't get much of the pedals though... *shrug*. And it ran out of battery 1/2 through the third lap. Have to try my phone next time.

yep. unfortunately the camera didn't get that balls-on-the-table pass attempt. Battery went flat just after Bergwerk on lap3.. so I clipped the whole lap.
 
Don't think ill be racing on Saturday now. In work until 9 and don't think ill be let out early!

I hope you'll pardon the egregious double post, but I needed to leave the formatting unsullied and pristine :rolleyes:

I would very much be looking forward to racing on Sunday, but it happens to fall on Mother's day here - at breakfast time, yet. Unless she's sleepy and I can also get my son to oversleep by keeping him up late, it may not be worth my life :sly:

That was really a lot of wheel, to me, but maybe I'm doin' it wrong. Must be a Fanatec thing. Is the DFP 200°, Rich?

DFP goes runs @ 900 or 240, that's what I had before the Fanatec. It is a smaller diameter wheel. That would be the main difference.
Maybe it would be valuable to film yourself... I'm using more than I thought I was. Maybe you are too. ;)

Though I've always thought I use too much steering angle, and I've been consciously trying to use less. However less wheel usually just results in not turning the car. ;) Maybe I need to turn in earlier with less attack, or something. I've hit a speed plateau so I definitely need to fix something... I was thinking I don't unwind the wheel fast enough. But if I'm simply using too much angle and turning in too late that would be easier to fix.

I actually did just that. Not the best video/driving quality but it will be fun to see the comparison. :)

Edit: Too bad about the brightness, but otherwise, this turned out better than expected.



Put up my time on the board as well.

Bad news guys. It's mother's day down here in Ven on Saturday and apparently I can't make the final round anymore because I can't stay here with my PS3. There is another PS3 where I'm going but it's some annoying little Bast*** cousin's PS3. And I can't stay here for the best race this season :(

Least we have a shot at 3rd rather than the usual 4th though. So I'll make sure I bring my A-Game this time (rather than the practice right before the ring race C-Game I brought for Series-X). :trouble:

Championship was already decided last week the moment I had to pit a second time for fuel. Last time I raced here, I spun twice before I DC'ed. Only time I was glad that happened. :lol:
 
If we're planning a morning to evening race. Set time to 10 Just did from 6am start for 1.5 hours and the headlights just coming on using 10. The race should take about 75 minutes to compete. That math shows 11 factor though.

I'd personally use 11.

The change is so awesome and really enjoyable.



For those that don't have time to do a fuel check. I used 75 liters in four laps. So race will take 150. Meaning it will require 50liters. I'm gonna put on 60 if my gauges looks anything under the 1/4 mark at my stop. :)

Sounds about right. Used 39 liters in two laps, which comes out to 78 over four.

My times were 20 seconds off my best tonight during that 4 laps. So truly 60 liters maybe ideal.

Clocked a 9:33.xxx for a PB. There is a 29 in me. But not sure I will risk an off trying for it during the race. Gonna practice more Saturday at 1pm and if I get that Nurb groove might run hard during the race. ;)

Not pushing on my end. When I drove within my limits in the two practice races, I actually won. :)

Then again, I'm aiming for my first ever podium at the 'Ring. The only other two notable tracks where I don't have one are Monaco because I stink there and Daytona Road Course because I'm the only one that likes it so it's never on the schedule.
