I had a fun race. I should had a top 3 (with pace or fuel :lol:) but I ran out of fuel. I really wish I pit on lap 19 :(

I all but didn't make it to pit road, and I put in 9 liters.

I don't know how Eddie was able to block the inside at the start, or why my car went so long in the braking zone. Ended up 10th, 8 seconds behind, and oh wow, the frame stutter was just awful. Everything my car did was so sluggish, and I had trouble driving the car. Think it took me 6 laps just to run a 30s, but soon, I clawed all the way up to about 2-3 seconds behind the leaders.

A few pitted the following lap, and while I couldn't jump Eddie, I had a shot at Travis. Lo and behold, the car goes long AGAIN and I threw away any advantage I received and then some. Fortunately, I caught anthony's draft, and towed me back to Travis, and then around him. A moot point, though, since I was unaware I didn't have enough fuel. Even now, it stuns me because I ran 21 laps yesterday, and 8 liters took my tank well past halfway. Heck, I'm not sure a full tank would've been enough.

It was fun trying to pull off a miracle, though. Just wish fuel didn't have to play a factor in these races.
 
Put in 12 at end of lap 20 and had to conserve the last 12 laps and major conserve the last two. If I'd put in 15 and been able to run hard. Those others that pitted again would of been mine. LoL

Was able to string together some low low 31's but didn't crack into the 30's like early in the week. The frame rates at times was making me feel drunk.

Worked overnight yesterday and got home early this morn but over slept a bit. I was still super tired so was in no shape to q or race. Looking forward to the ring should be fun with these cars.
 
Are we gonna run a full time cycle?
 
Really enjoyed the race till I disconnected, I hope next race I get to finish.

What's the Q procedure for Nurb? We use the GP/F as the warm lap or have we to do 2 full laps?
 
I really wanted to race. But I don't have Twin ring Motegi Complex DLC :(
 
8am -8pm 12hrs would be factor 12.

6am - 9pm 15hrs would be factor 15.


These are based off a 60 minute race.


Looks like the race will take closer to 80 minutes though.

Have to agree with rich here, love racing in the pitch black at the ring! Would be cool to have a full cycle.

I wasn't planning on time change at all, but I kind of like the idea of dawn to dusk.

No night racing :(
 
Dawn and dusk is when the track is the prettiest. :)

Nurb at night is a whole new challenge. I usually go there at night with rain on nearly stock cars to have fun. I love watching the night to morning transition.
 
I've signed up for the last race :). If there is a need for voluntary sit-outs like Motegi to fit everyone in 1 room, I can do that.
 
Tonight when I get home, I will make a post that everyone will copy and paste so I know who all is committed and who can't make it. This will be to determine if we need a grid split, and where we split them. The grid order will be set by points; no qualifying needed for this week.
