Man, y'all went from fun to super fun! Come on guys, lets go to sleep!

Y'all must be really bored if going to sleep is spicing things up.

lol, that actually made me laugh out loud. It just one of things were some kid will say something, you'll get a "no way" from someone, then its on.

and philly, he's not like that. he won't hesitate to give a referall. he has standards, but alot of the stuff we do is when he's not paying attention, like the passing out. If he sees you doing something, he'll come over and say "hey guys, stop it" and if its bad enough he will write detentions and referalls

I'm also not that kind of kid. I have 106 in that class. I do my work and am generally a very quiet person, but its the classes were i know people, that i tend to loose concentration and fool around a bit.

I still don't get how passing out is any fun... having done it myself once or twice... and having nearly died both times (once from taking a fall back-of-the-neck-first from a vault, once from sheer physical exhaustion).

Depriving your brain of anything... oxygen, sugar, etcetera, is a good way of courting permanent brain damage... slight as the chance may seem at first.

Isn't there anything more interesting to do with your time in class? Like a friendly, satanic game of AD&D? Or throwing wads of paper at each other?

Idiots glorify their stupidity on all occasions.

Hey!

Last time we had an ignorant teacher, we made spaghetti in class. That was a fun day. I'm sure my friends at the local private schools would have things for you to try. Oh, and learn how not to get caught.

I always found petty vandalism a good way to pass the time. Just get a metal ruler and start hacking into the tables or drill holes in them with a compass. I had a strange addiction of pulling the rubber that goes around the edge off tables too.

Got plastic chairs? Put them next to a heater, get the plastic all soft, then you can launch things at incredible speeds off the backs of them.

If all else fails, just take your Gameboy in, if your teacher doesn't mind kids passing out in his class, then he won't care about an awesome Pokemon battle.

He does mind, thats why we had to form a sort of human shield to block him from seeing what was going on.

he doesn't like a lot of things happening, but he is still lenient.

I usually will just listen to my ipod and talk, maybe get up and throw a ball around with someone.

As long as you put it on youtube and then die, I'm all for it. Well, that is of course as long as it's only you and every other idiot that does it and not anyone that's an innocent by standard.

 what are you talking about? what do you mean?

Thats how bored we get. You may not believe me, but yes, they were doing it to try to fall asleep

lol, i wouldn't doubt that they do that out of school too. what im saying is that we end up having close to 50 minutes to kill, so they got bored of solving rubix cubes, and decided to spice things up a bit.

we get up, throw things around, turn on the tv, go on the teachers computer, mess around with stuff in the cabinets and such. we are a bit more controlled then we used to be, but we are always finding new things to do.

Sigh...

 Sorry I just had too....

ROFLMAO. now thats comedy

again DWA, whats with the i should die and hope no innocent bistanders get involved. what the hell are you talking about.

Yeah, bistanders are the worst. They leave both men and women in the lurch.

Ill just respond from what i can understand from what DWA said. So i should die because i want to try something that ive never done before. Its my life, and i can make my own decisions, whether there good decisions or not is none of your business.

I don't know what your talking about with innocent bistanders, everyone in the class will pretty much talk to each other and we all have fun. were not going around doing this too people, the people that are doing this want to do it, just to see what its like.

Kinda funny you (TEAMDiablo3) had to think about it.

Oh, btw... yeah, I'm sick and I relied on FF's spell check. I can't spell or type well today.

In my sort of uncontrollable science class it started when two kids, were just getting lightheaded and kind of a 'high' from hold their breath in and holding their neck.

From there it lead to another kid knowing a way to make someone pass out. A kid was told to squat, put his hands out parallel, and take 10 long, deep breaths. on the 10th intake, you hold your breath in, stand up, and put your arms against your sides. someone will come up behind you, and squeeze your chest and you pass out.

well he did it and went right out, he was laid down in a sort off sitting position, but as he was like that, his body twisted and he hit his head on a desk (completely irreverent to the story, but it was funny to see someone like a rag doll). Anywho, he was out for around 10 seconds until the teacher caught on to what we were doing. As we woke him up, his whole body twitched for a second, and his face looked like he was completely baked.

First thing out of his mouth was "how long was i out, and why does my head hurt" we told him he was out for only 10 seconds, and he told us that it seemed that he was out for 3 hours. he said he dreamed about riding a train through the stars, which he thinks was induced by a poster on the wall with stars on it because thats the last thing he saw. he told us it hd to be one of the coolest and weirdest dreams he ever had.

Most of the stories from this kind of thing always include that in their mind they said "this isn't working" then they went right out. Its also included that most of the dreams during this time period are quite weird or absolutely awesome.

Has anyone else done this? I cant wait until monday because i want to try this so bad. The teacher is a laid back guy, but he hesitates about this and alot of stuff. Its a great class because we do work, but end up with loads of time afterwards. Because of this time, 4 people know rubix cube and can do it in about 2 minutes, some people can juggle now, and alot of fun things happen. If he doesn't let us, we'll just wait until he goes on his computer and we'll form sort of an inconspicuous human shield so he doesn't see, like last time.

Anything i should really be worried about? I can't really think of anything because once you pass out, you start breathing again. Maybe some brain cell loss, but it will probably only equate to that of hitting my head or less. I cant wait to hopefully have the coolest dream of my life :D

I should also test something too, lets see what will happen with different last visualizations, and music perhaps. Its now not just some weird thing to do, its an experiment of sorts. If i am able to do it, ill post back the results.

Have fun buddy! The world needs one less moron. 👍

If you just want to see things (trip/dream state) there are a whole lot of better ways to accomplish that.

It's always fun until some one gets hurt.
Now I am not the medic in our family, Jack's sister is. I've just asked her what the medical implications of doing this are and she went on for about 5 minutes with all these big words I can't spell or even pronounce (I really hate it when she does that), the only bit I got was respiratory acidosis but putting it simply we breathe for a reason. To supply oxygen to our bodies and to expel carbon dioxide. I guess if you wanna mess with that then that is up to you but it's probably something that you shouldn't be promoting here.
Maybe for your next trick you could try playing chicken with a freight train.

ya, i most likely wont do it now, the risk is way too high. but as i had said before, i also doubt i could get a chance even if i did want to.

Also DWA, why is it funny that i had to think about it. I seriously don't understand what he meant in that sentence. Im not stupid, its just one of those things that went over my head.

I created this thread not to talk about me doing this, though i did say i may try it, i mostly wanted to talk about how it gives weird effects, the dangers (which we have thoroughly been through), to raise conversation, and be just an interesting topic

It's the unintentional misspelling of "bistanders" (bystanders), leaving both men and women in the lurch.
Get it now? ;)
Breathe deeply dude, oxygen is your friend.

Actually it was a bit awkard reading your story. Because nearly that exact same thing happened in my science class back in eighth grade. The only difference is that a kid was forcably making some others pass out by strangling their necks.

He could squeeze there neck for what seemed about 3 seconds, stopping the blood flow, and the passee's head would just fall over. A third guy was holing them from falling on the floor and stuff. The last guy they did it to started wobbling and drooling. When the teacher came back he put a stop to it.

the choking is absolutely stupid. The way i explained is a way less dangerous because all your really doing is holding your breath while some applies a very slight pressure to your chest. Both ways are still stupid though.

what happened to the kid, major brain damage?

No, the guy was fine. The other guys that passed out did so quite unspectacularly, but this dude went all haywire. And no, the choker didn't get more than a detention.

I was pretty amazed by how quickly the kids would pass out. They'd hold their breath first, and it only took a couple seconds to stop the blood flow. Crazy.

I much prefer choking chickens. It's a lot safer, and doesn't require someone else hanging around.

Unless, of course, you like that sort of thing.

Looking back, I thought me and my friends were pretty stupid for trying pot for fun at that age, but damn, kids these days are just dumb.
