Q: 2J in birthday ticket

Hello! I have been trying to get the 2J from the 1970 birthday ticket for 2 weeks now (WOW!) And im now wondering... what are the chances to get the 2J it sould be like 1/15 or so... but im wondering ifits sett up for each car Ie: 2J has a probability of 1:100 etc. Opinions on how easy it is to get the 2J would be great... THANKS!
 
While we're in here,the level zero ticket has 267 cars on it,which theoretically would mean rather alot of coulour combo's but are they all available on 1 copy of it?

I'd assume so. I'm guessing when you open the ticket it randomly picks a number for your car, then picks another number for your color. I doubt they would have each color available as a different car, as that would lead to probably thousands of cars from a single ticket.
 
Good luck man, I was at it for over a month before I got it.
Ended up with four Toyota 7s in the mean time.
 
The best way i found ( i got all fgt colors that way) is to send the ticket to a second account. From this account send the ticket everyday to your main account... do that during a week and when you have like 5-6 ticket 1970... begin to open it till you have the car you want... if you open the 6 tickets and not get the car you want... reload your game and try again... i think this is the easiest way to have the car you're looking for... ( 6 chances instead of 1, so you will not loose all your time just reloading and restart the game) i hope you understand... english is not my first language..

I probably do more ticket cycling than most people, And yes it is supposed to be totally random but in recent months I have noticed a trend to give out the more readily accesible cars. It used to take around 10 mins to aquire the 2J but now it definately takes longer, Ive also noticed this with cycling level 16 tickets for the FTO touring car and level 12 for the Nissan 390 road car they have all taken exremely long times to get.

I have often spouted its not hard to get the car you want this way but its looking like humble pie is on the menu now.

Thats the best way ive found recently to get what your after by opening as many as possible alltogether.


Im sure PD have altered this random thing but could be wrong.

It was very difficult for me trying to get the 2J too. It took me a lot of patience. I have gotten the same cars over and over when I just wanted to get the 2J once and I finally did. You'll get it sooner or later.
 
After reading this, I went to market place and traded for a 1970 ticket, I got the 2j on my 3rd go..
 
What about the proper level ticket? It could have less cars, giving better odds to get 2J.
 
I was replying to the first post, my bad for not being clear. Though if probabilities aren't uniform (doubtful), anything is possible.
 
To my knowledge, no one has ever actually officially proven that the probabilities are uniform, though unofficially it seems they are uniform. My thread, if it had been supported, would have been the only conclusive proof that I'm aware of.
