Q about GT5 trolls

Sony doesn't IP ban! IP and MAC addresses can be changed very easily, SONY, and others, know this so they don't bother! I read that there's some file on your PS3 that they remotely delete that causes you to loose connectivity.

My buddy got banned for 6 months for reasons I won't get into, he just used his brothers PS3 and he was back up and running, with a different ID of course.

Nope. You can't change MAC Address in PS3 without a DevKit and, of course, some IT knowledge. Some people have had to buy a new PS3 to play online because they were permanently MAC Address banned.

What it says about the troller is that they are a troll. But for anyone that buys into it and starts yelling into their mic thinking somehow the troll is magically, finally going to realize they are a troll and stop trolling...that person probably needs more help than the troll.

Oh I was relating/adding to the topic of it. Basically it was meant as "anyway considering the circumstances it won't get there for Sony to do anything anyway"

So you come onto peoples threads and don't even read what they say, and talk crap? Congrats, on being a forum troll. We were in a race... Host and all... Host had to back out, that's the video... you'd know that if you read the thread, but no, you assume we allow him to stay in our room so I can record him... I was already recording the race at lap 50 when he came in... Next time I'll try to use psychic ability so we can block the accounts he's going to make in the future. so keep talking crap dumb ass.

Well thank you... I got lots of videos... I don't meet many trolls so I don't think I'll have many of those. But I've got Daytona NASCAR, Camaro Road Races, a kart vid, drift vid. I'm lost.. Are these video's of people trolling you on rare occasions?
 
there are 3 videos of trolls, 2 are the same guy... he has like 300 accounts he's made cause we keep blocking him, and chunn is just some douche who joined and was racing fine, but he wrecked himself and decided to go backwards... and I'm actually trolling a guy who made me mad on youtube, talking crap to me, I posted our compared trophies also. so yes, my troll vids are rare. I make race vids, and crashes from daytona mainly. "The Big One" the finalized version of that is pretty cool

I'm not talking crap, I came to give you advice. I said to ignore them and just boot them without saying anything, not engage with them. Yet here is another video with your guys doing the opposite. That is not how you get rid of trolls. Also if this loser is following you around don't you think he is going to know your YouTube account and be happy he is getting even more attention?

I already told you what to do, give him zero attention. Turn your volume down (Racing NASCAR with low volume is pretty easy), finish your race and kick him without any of your team saying a word. As long as you guys keep getting annoyed and engaging with him he gets what he wants and will keep coming back.

Maybe I am maybe I am not. Doesn't matter. I actually told you i was but I troll on BF3 not GT5. I also do a totally different method of trolling

If this was me doing this to you guys I would be flat out honest with you. But i am not. But i was trying to offer advice. Hints why in some of my posts they say "it is trolling 101"

If you tell your friend that gets so angry to just laugh along the guy might just stop trolling your rooms. If you run mics disabled for a few days he might stop coming in your room (considering he has done this same thing over and over). All i have to say at least he is consistent.

And also haven't got around to changing it yet haha. I need something new

I was under the impression 1 ps3 could only have a maximum of 100 registered PSN ID's on it? Whilst it would take a while, just kick & block him & eventually he'll no longer get in, I'd assume?

Well, that's just stupid. Think about buying my and selling, people sell 2nd hand ps3 and therefore after having created 100acc on that ps3 the next owner wouldn't be able to go online and that is just ridiculous.

No it is more than 100.

I had a friend a long time ago that had over 200 and something PSN accounts. He was addicted to red dead redemption that was the reason
 
Most 2 easiest solutions would be:
A. Do private lobbys.
B. Let one of us be the host, we'll kick him without a word straight away when he comes.
Can't think of better ones.

Actually dude... like I said, you didn't read, and obviously weren't paying attention to the video... Chronic, backed out to kick him, after he kicked him he went off... after the guy was gone... so how did we acknoledge him "again"? Cause chronic backed out and booted him?

And so you know, we haven't seen him since 2 days after I posted here the first time. He was probably banned. thankfully. I've had this video waiting to be edited since that 2nd day when this was recorded... by the way again.
 
I didn't watch the entire video because I didn't have the time, by your and other peoples description of the video I had assumed he went off at the troll, it would seem odd to start going off at someone when they're gone. If he did just boot the troll without saying anything to him then I apologise as that is obviously what I suggested.

You shoulda watched it all, you missed out... I posted the video here, not complaing about the troll, but just wanted you guys to hear all the bleeps I had to add when chronic goes crazy, after having to back out yet again, especially at lap 58... the dude came in at lap 46 if anyone was wondering... we were doing fine ignoring him.. Chronic just got sick of not being able to hear the other racers.. I thought I had this video on youtube, stopping just before chronic goes crazy... in that video, as soon as he comes in, you hear Miz say, "Chronic, you're about to hear Reggae music"... the troll heard that and left after a min without turning on the mic/music. then he came back after logging into another name. In all honesty, I'm just trying to get views on my troll vids. :P
 
This is a GT5 Q&A forum, not a FPS forum. We've got threads for those in the Console & PC Gaming forum.

Since you've got your answer, are choosing not to heed the advice and have descended into who's the better troll on [random other game], the thread's now redundant.
