In b-spec director screen. What does the yellow arrow between the car icons on the bottom of the screen mean? I though it meant a car was about to be overtaken. Then the arrow appear from a car the was 1000ft behind. I appologize about wasting your time with this question but any help would be great. :ouch:

This has been asked before. I'm pretty sure it means that the car behind has a faster sector time than the car in front of it.

Have a read at this thread and then make up your own mind...

Bummer! Beaten to it and he even finds a better thread! :grumpy:

:D

it's been discussed before, but I understand if didn't find it by searching... The arrows you see between the cars are there to show that..::: for example: your in 1st place, suddenly the arrow appears between your car and the second car. This means that the car behind you got a better time on the last sector of the lap, and that means he is closing in on you! :)
Hope that wasn't TOO confusing!

edit: i was late man....

Another question about B-spec.. I'm pretty sure this might have been asked before.. but anyways - Where on the game can you find the B-spec driver's name? Almost everyone will call him Bob, some will call him bud, ur dude...etc. Are those names really on the game?

There is no name for the driver. Whatever names you hear are just nicknames given to him/her by the player.

Mine's called "Dammit", by the way. "DAMMIT, STAY ON THE TRACK!! GO FASTER, DAMMIT!! DAMMIT, WHO TAUGHT YOU HOW TO DRIVE!?!?" That sort of thing. :)

His real name is U.I. Armstrong...

Anyway, grossly off-topic, but original question answered... twice! :sly:
