Question about online

When i am online, i see some people who are ghosts driving at full speed. When i click start to turn into a ghost, my car coasts back to the pits. How can you be a ghost and also have full control over your car? Thanks it advance

Maybe the car was on high speed prior to going Ghost mode.

Maybe the car was on high speed prior to going Ghost mode.

But the driver carried on with the high speed. When i do it, my car gradually slows down.

I thought it was just a glitch on your screen, I have never found a way to actually do it, maybe you could try to find it on youtube?

Nothing i can find on youtube. I was in an X2010 room on the nurburgring and i spun. As i rejoined the track, i was driven through by an X2010 going at what appeared to be full speed. I suppose it couldve been coasting back very quickly, but it didnt look like it.

Could be penalties set to on.

Yea if it was in race then penalties were on so the car turned ghost and drove through yours.
