I am new to gran turismo and just wondering about the tuning and stuff and how does everything work.Every time I tune a car it turns out to be an unturnable brick??

Trial and error can be key. Also, read the tuning setup descriptions in-game.

Yeah, the easiest way to get into tuning (at least what got me in) was to read the scrolling text and hints at the bottom of the screen in the menu. Combining the basics with the shape/weight of the car and the layout of the track is really all you need.

One thing I do is to pick a tune from one of the tunning garages, and then make slight adjustments to tailor it to my own driving style. The tunning garages always offer a good base to start for myself. Also from these tunes making little adjustments you get an idea of how things works or effect the car on track.

Have a read through Scaff's tuning guide and then, as Grim suggests, have a look for setups in the tuning garages. Those should help you to understand how tuning works.
