Does anybody elses Nissan Option Stream start off slow ? Mine doesn't get going until around 11 mph

Its made for flat out top speed, its bound to get off the line slowly

Do a burnout.
If you hold down the brake/handbrake and accelerate on the same time, and then let go of the brake when the RPM meter is bouncing off, it will accelerate a lot faster than if you just accelerated from a complete stand still.
It warms up the tires as well

I'm guessing this is due to turbo lag.

Just rev the nuts off the car at standstill using your handbrake and accelerator, release the handbrake and it will launch you forward and you don't get any turbo lag at all.

The turbo lag is unbearable and the car as a whole pretty much stinks.

They should have included (amongst other things) an anti-lag system in the tuning options that reduces turbo lag at the expense of engine life, that would have been great for cars like the Samba Bus, for instance.
