Actually there was a Mini like that running around over here it looked pretty rediculous because the owner was in his 40's or 50's. It had Rav4 taillights too.

That looks like he just has a bunch of pieces, and when he gets to shows, he arranges the pieces in the shape of a truck. Theres no way that thing even moves now. At least some of the other ones can be lifted up and driven around.

It comes to shows on a trailer and it does have airbags to lift it up. I can't remember what show I saw it at, I think it was the one in Indy. A lot of work went into it, but it doesn't make it good. There is a point where your vehicle is to low.

Just some taken from here...

This is nuts...

As cool as I think draggin is there is a time, place, and vehicle for it. Doing it on a open road, during dusk, in a dully with a trailer is not safe or smart. Most shows now have a legal drag area where you can't kill anyone if you catch a bump in the road and the suspension explodes, or you drag through an important part of the truck (gas tank).

I'd drive that 944 wagon :D, kinda like porsches answer to the M coupe!

w00t. It would be awesomeness. You would be the coolest soccer mom evar.

EDIT:

NOT A TOYOTA. Still the most hilarious ad ever.

I don't seem to have any issues with doing stuff. I can tow a trailer, put stuff in the rear, and carry 3 other people besides me. The only thing I can do is drive if there is to much snow.

But you do realize all trucks that are on the ground can lift themselves up higher then stock right? They don't drive with them on the ground. And when they do, draggin doesn't mess the road up all that much. You do more damage to the frame of your truck then to the asphalt.

And no you can't use a drift car for anything, you can just go around corners sideways and destroy your tires :dopey:.

And I'm messing around as well, hence the :dopey: face. I guess with the internet it's hard to tell at times.

And what the hell, why not have both:

Actually better yet, I'm not sure what to even make of these:

donks will always be an abomination unto the car gods.

As for the hot rod, the only thing i find questionable are the doors, and purple? I hate when they do this though, that thing looks completely drag ready, but i bet it will never see a drag strip, at least with its current owner.

One would think, but a lot of guys that drag aren't that smart, they don't even put drag blocks on their trucks...which leads to them grinding down their engine cradle and eventually having the motor fall through.

that ratty landy strikes me as awesome for some reason, but I just love the rat look in general. I have heard of people putting magnesium drag plates underneath and then being surprised when theres a massive fire...

This guy fails at S-10's, you shouldn't put those lame attempt at lambo doors on them and there is no way 22's fit correctly on the truck.

This guy fails as well, not only for thinking 22's belong on an S-10 but for being a complete idiot (I know the guy).

questionable indeed. heres a few more odd things from the show

That raised grass verge leading up to the trees looks familiar. Was that show the Surrey Street Rodders' Wheels day at Rushmoor Arena? Just asking as I used to attend every Good Friday when I lived up that way.

I'd call that a clean truck - not to my taste (the orange coupe in stumpydino's photo is more my scene), but I have seen much worse done to a minitruck.
