None of those truck things are questionable. And +rep to Joey. Who needs your flame paint jobs or 50 pound 2 foot wide tires, or Boeing airplane wings for everyday driving?

This thread needs more green Firebird's with vertical doors and retarded wheels

HAHA!, Serge I think you are my new best friend! :D

oh and I was looking around and stumbled across a list that is called "You might be a ricer if..." and almost peed my self when I got to this one "You get pimped out props from the mini truck crowd"

Man I have to much fun messing with you Joey :)

uhh what? :odd:

Mini trucks, full sized trucks, lifted trucks, imports, drifters, hot rods...whatever they are all useless.

People tell me all the time my truck is useless because it's lowered, which is pretty true to some extent, but it's no different then any other modified car, truck, or SUV. Modified vehicles really have no point...it doesn't change my love for them however.

The problem with those pics is that they look ugly, however I would totally drive that station wagon thing.

Oh I don't really like the way they look either, but it just seems like people hate them because they are on bags...not because the owner didn't know how to properly put colors on their truck.

I really didn't see anything wrong with those trucks other than some of those trucks shouldn't be slammed so much ,and the rim/painjobs were questionable. The Firebird on the other hand, is just flat out retarded. Such a perfect waste of a good car...:indiff:

I only like about 5% of them, and don't like but accept 15%. The Firebird isn't bad in that it can be fixed with a simple respray and new rims, and many of the others in this thread arent' really that bad. However, things like that replica Skyline, cars with plastic parts on them, and that horrifying Integra 911 GT3, are just revolting.

I don't think it is a Questionable Modification but a Questionable Creation. This car must have been created from scratch, not as a mod on an existing car.

I think i saw that car in a other Thread.
you did!

haha yea! looks to me it was based on a willys..very loosely  it is very cool, it was just crazy odd i thought id put it in here :p

"Imports" You should be more direct when you say that, cause that basically is saying every vehicle on the road today. Most company's that tune vehicles, like JUN, HKS, etc etc... long ass list. Can server as full on race cars, or drift cars so there powerful, with carbon fiber, super light weight wheels, really nice tires etc etc... All has a purpose and useful for what they are made for doing. But slammed trucks basically are for looks and cruising on a perfectly paved road. Unless there is a low rider racing series that i am unaware of...

You know what I meant, we have an entire thread dedicated to "Imports" and I was referring to those. And despite what you say a hopped up econo-box serves zero purpose other then looking cool. Modded cars in general do not have a purpose nor are they very useful. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a modified car as much as the next guy, but I just don't see the point in them when it comes to everyday life.

Also those companies you mentioned could do some very questionable things, I don't think I've seen a "tuning" company yet that has produce all good looking vehicles. Not to mention a large proportion of vehicles built by these companies never see a track.

With lowered trucks there are people who do race them, I've participated in a few non-SCCA autcross events before with my truck and in the SCCA there is actually a class from lowered pickups but not SUV's.

Sorry for the poor picture, it's quite old. This is a truck that was done by the GM Explorer group and they actually did race it.

Yeah but that truck is nothing like the other ones. I'm not saying trucks can't race, I think truck racing is awesome. But the ones that where previously posted had very low tire profile, wheels where huge, the truck would scrape the crap out of the body and with those tires/wheels, i would imagine that in no way helps with the handling or grip. And about tunning companies not seeing a track? Well HKS is a pretty damn big in the drift scene, JUN's products could easily be a beast on the track, and look at how many "eco-boxes" race these days. I mean Spoon has ITR's, Civics, CRX's and pretty much any Honda on the track all over. I'm sure that there are low riding race trucks, but the ones shown would be beat by a Smart around the ring...

Theres a thing called airbags and hydraulics :dunce:. They aren't always that low, and can usually get back to stock height with the flip of a switch.

Joey is right though, a lot of the cars these so called 'tuning companies' create are just brought around in trailers to be shown at car shows.

Just found this '67 Volvo Amazon. Not to everyones taste, but IMO I think it's awesome.

I thought this would make a change from all the trucks lately.
