You may think that this is a model, but trust me it's real!

Complete with £22,000 Alpine sound with 11 amplifiers and 20 speakers
including 8 subwoofers, kicking out 15,780 watts.

The paint job alone cost £15,000. Total cost... £108,000!

Unfortunately, the owner wasn't around when I wanted to have a word in his shell-like.

True, it's not a donk, but Why?
It's an insult to Monte Carlos and to Nascar! :grumpy:

It could be worse...see that Citroen C2 two posts down from yours?

that's IRREVERSIBLE damage. The Monte just needs some stickers torn off and a new decklid. besides, not like it's some sort of rare or special car. it's just a Monte Carlo

I was looking for a particular picture of a Veloceraptor from Jurassic Park and I found this Honda Civic...

Is that the same one which ran in the 1994 Le Mans, or a replica? Kind of reminds me of the Crocodile Audi R8, though not as cool looking.

Wings and Mirrors are all wrong on the "Not so Racing" one....

That is actually not bad at all - I'm guessing the little Niva does quite well in swamped areas..

And being an RC Nut, that just inspired a whole new project (Besides the 6 other ongoing ones)...

[Edit:] Found another picture :

That's definitely under SubZero on my Cool Wall...

Don't Nivas have 40 HP or something? Could it even turn those tires? In any case, Nivas are good enough off road that you would think that a big set of super swampers would only hurt.
That being said, it is cool.

I actually like that, and it being a Le Mans replica (or, rather, a homage) I don't think it is that questionable. It would be like nailing the Heritage Ford GTs.

What's the expression for cars with hydraulics installed? Something like "$5,000 later and the car is worth $500 less." I'd say that applies in that case.

well, there ARE more aerodynamic bodies you can put on a Dragster...

aw, hell, who an i kidding? it's awesome all around.

Who needs aerodynamics when you have insane power.

If a school bus can do a wheelie all the way down a drag strip, then that thing definitely can to (I'd assume that's what they're making it for)

Something tells me that things not built for wheelies, and i think it belongs in the Hot rods & customs thread..

526ci Hemi producing 2500hp ftw!
And ive seen and photographed that green beach bug in the DYSAGT thread :)

corvair and camry look like jokes, the bmw is a photoshop, bleh thats ugly tho. The civic is real, and no joke, the number plate is just stupid, but at least there is some originality in the design :)

glad to see someone else reads cc :D i remember reading up on that thing 4 years ago  i put it here jus cos its plain crazy :p questionable doesnt always mean crap

I thought that they were going to stretch the body all the way back on the VW bus, that's why i assumed it to be a wheelie car.

well apparently its a pickup so maybe he'll put the bed on somewhen  the "really coming together" bit would suggest he's still working on it
there is one with a full body around tho :p
