Everybody has different opinions of what questionable is.

stumpydino thought that this car was questionable, but in my opinion it is not. Does that mean that i have the right to say that it is completely not questionable, no, its just a difference of opinions

wtf is it

What Was It Originally??

That I don't know. It's obviously based of an older American car, but it has no defining features to say that its anything but a salt flats car with a body based off an American classic.

I don't know much about cars from that era, but if someone did, i'd suspect that the windshield and rear window (the little window behind the drivers side window) would be a key feature as to what it is.

That looks like a fiberglass body custom built.

I really don't think it's fair to call it a Questionable Mod, because it's not modified, it's scratch built from the ground up.

i just looked very carefully at it and it looks like a 41 willys type nose...
see the pic for reference i think though it was very heavily altered for aerodynamic purposes

Is that a picture from the hot rods, muscle cars, customs Thread?

Every car maker needs an SUV now, it's the in thing to do.

i post stuff that would be questionable in a matter of taste sometimes, not necessarily a stab at practicality, just somethin looking/designed crazy, i still thought the chopped/sectioned etc. willys salt flats racer was cool

I love rat well that's half rat right?

BTW, Danachronism love the tar.

edit: oh, this is not the hot rod thread. :dopey:

You know, for a moment I forgot I had clicked on "Questionable Modifications."

That VW is awesome.

If those things above the wheels (what do you call 'em? EDIT: Fenders) were a little wider, and perhaps slightly smaller wheels, that thing would be the definition of looking cool.

I WILL say it looks better than the flop Cheetah, though:
A mid engine tractor would never work, so why would this?

*That was actually considered long before the Hummer for the U.S. Army. It was an extremely off-road capable vehicle.
