It...uhm...looks like somebody's speedboat. or an RV. or something stupid like that.
 
I don't see much wrong with it except for the paint, rims, mesh, and front bar. Other then that everything else looks like a regular Cobra, unless i'm missing something.
 
^wrong, if your going to mess with one it should come out looking like this!

Did you read what I said?

Other then the things I mentioned it would come out like that, save for the hood and rear view mirrors.

I like it. He took an ADD Nova and put an engine in it. Its far less questionable than it was originally.

All the reasons you listed as an exception are why that picture was posted.... But I don't agree with the big bulgy hood as an addition.

Amusingly, Ford also now sell the Kuga, a completely unrelated soft-roader.
 
Freaking UK... Mercury has always (at least to my knowledge of course) sold the Cougar here in the US.
 
It was the Ford Cougar all over Europe. Since the above car (car?) is on UK plates, it's safe to assume the lights have been jacked from the Ford version of the Cougar.

Yeah... What i'm saying is the Cougar has been a Mercury product all of it's life in the US AFAIK hence me thinking you were incorrect... but I don't live in the UK so I wouldn't know.
