I don't see anything too wrong with that Civic revheadnz. A change of rims would help it though.

Except if it's a Civic Breeze, then it's :yuck::yuck::yuck: ALL THE WAY because of that poxy motor fitted in them!! ;)

You mean apart from the airbag suspension and the front end transplant from what appears to have been a Daewoo Nexia?

And racing seats (and harnesses) in a car with airbag suspension.

Airbags, no. I've seen well done cars with airbag suspension. The rims on this make it look dodgy however. :indiff:

Front end transplant....I thought it was a screwed up EK kit that was fitted but all the lines matched to a degree. But Daewoo?!?!!? Get the shotgun ma!! :mischievous:

The racing seats can never be a fail, they're BRIDE's. :D But they DO deserve to be in a mega tough S15 or something similar. 👍

-> I don't know why but...

*snip*

(Sorry for the big pics)

-> Hybrid = Rich + Idiot | IMA = Idiotic Motivational Attitude | Hybrid Synergy Drive = Hybrid Stupidity Dumb-Ass

:indiff:

Maybe his area has a high number of club-carrying Greenpeace terrorists members. You realize that if you're A capitalist rich and you don't have a hybrid those people want to kill you, right? And that they're stupid enough to believe that a Rolls Royce is ACTUALLY a hybrid if you put the label from a Ford Escape on it?

Oh, wait, you don't ACTUALLY think it's a hybrid yourself, do you?

That yellow/gold Civic would be nice with a better colour and a different grille. I think it would look better in red, with a normal grille because the grille fitted dosn't look right in my oppinion.

Slammed Volvos are ALWAYS questionable.

I like that civic, and its actually a local car. Pretty cleanly done

I hope you folks know that the front end is from an acura EL, not some daewoo

You mean, besides the fact that having a double exhaust on a 4 cylinder (1 exhaust manifold) is counter-productive. It would be better if he didn't have two cutouts in the first place.

;)

That works too, but then you'd have to get a whole new rear bumper, and the one on there is probably custom made...

That Volvos not bad. Besides the tiny or unseen rear tire I'd take it.

You gotta love Neons with a body kit, or whats left of a body kit. And on some stock wheels.

Fixed your typo. That 240 is a shame because if it sat at a driveable curb height it would be fairly close to awesome.

I would say everything except for the stretch and the drop are pretty awesome, I even love the wheels

Racing seats and harnesses on a car with airbag suspension. Nuff said.

I don't even know what an Acura EL is. But he's made his perfectly serviceable Civic look like a Daewoo, with the ground clearance of an ice skate, the practicality of a motorbike and the kudos of a basin haircut.

Yeah. It's more for looks anyway. The stretch gets on my nerves more than the stance though. I actually drive a slammed 240 in GT4 with some rather surprising success, though it is just a game...

And that green civic thing, ugh, mannn. I do like the wheels a bit though.

It always looks terribe when people do that, either buy some nice alloys before a body kit, or leave the car totally standard. That way people wont laugh at you.

It might as well be from 'some daewoo', it wouldn't make it any more dull.

Of all the front ends of all cars in the world, why would you want a front end of the acura El (or a daewoo) grafted to the front of your Civic (or indeed any car)? A Civic already has a much nicer front end than an acura EL (or a daewoo.)

Its fine to be different, but making something worse just for the sake of being different seems a little pointless.

The Acura EL is actually a Civic... it was something Acura Canada thought of in 1997 when they decided to stop importing 4 door Integras over here, seeing how it did not sell at all in Canada. Honda in Japan had the "Domani", which was a luxed up version of the Civic, so Acura Canada simply brought that over here. It really is a 1996-2000 Civic sedan with leather interior and a different front end, which bolts right up with no frame or body modifications to any other 96-00 Civic.

I don't think it's any worse than people converting their 4 cylinder Fox Body Mustangs into GT clones back in the early 90s... This thread has lost the plot big time.

but wouldn't you agree that putting the front end of a tarted up civic on a regular civic is questionable?

Not really, to me. It's not masquerading as something (like a 4cyl GT clone) and it's kind of clean and nice. Other than the paint I think that gold Civic is pretty nice. Airbags, of course, are always questionable.

Yeah, i'm definitely not a fan. Because that civic has so much camber on the wheels and it's slammed to the floor, it looks like the suspension can't take the weight of the car.

This, for anyone who isn't aware, is the Nexia, by the way:

I only posted a small picture because I don't want to be responsible for too many boredom-related deaths. I was always impressed (if that's the right word) at how Daewoo somehow made the Mk2 Astra (/Opel Kadett E) even worse (actually, the old GTE wasn't too bad a car).

How to turn dreary into awful:

That's my something new learnt for the day, thanks for that Fred, I never knew that. :)

I so wish we had a clapping emoticon, I would just applaud this statement till the cows came home. 👍

If that's custom made I'll eat my hat. Those cheap urethane bumpers are a dime a dozen. It wouldn't be hard to find something with one cutout.

;)

This was once an Espero. niiiiice

That name always amused me. Espero. "Hope". Just add "no" to the front of that and it becomes closer to the mark.

That's a literally stunning example. In the same way a 50,000-volt Taser shot is literally stunning.

That Nexia is not worthy of those Keskin wheels. They should be taken away from him and given to someone with a real car. Preferably someone with a MKIII Golf.

I figure custom made because of the RSX tails. I'll eat my hat if it's just a cheapo urethane one ;)

It's not on 'bags. I don't quite know where Famine got that from, but for once, he was wrong. :P

You can go that low, and actually even lower than that, with coilovers... no need for airbags.
