The ad:

"Full custom, one of a kind, must be seen to appreciate. All chevy running gear, 350, turbo 400.
This was my husbands truck, he worked on it from 1969 till his passing in 2005.
. Not much left to finish, just small things, but beyond me...Was driven last summer, but not this year. Someone with the vision to finish this truck is needed . It's a shame to let it just sit in the garage. Best offer will take, won't be given away..."

Price? $25,000.

omg please NO....

Here you go. You will love this.

My neighbor works at an exhaust shop and this is what a customer requested. Discuss for a while and I will tell you why it is like that.

He's turned the transmission around too...?

Nope and Nope. Rocket launhers would have been nice thats for sure.

Something came across my mind. Did he switch the driving position to the back and pretended like the frontal part of the car now to be the rear - Porsche-esque?

Reeeeal wilde guess...

Nope. I thought the same thing too at first.

Why would someone do that?!

Who would want their car to look like a cayenne?

And on the front exhaust thing, he stuck 2 front ends of a car together? Or he turned it into a rear or mid-engined car, and they are for ventilation?

Brake ducts? Air intakes?

Front exhaust.

Nope. Nope. Nope. but great ideas.

Front mounted exhaust actually seems kind of cool in an exceedingly weird way.

And is it bad that I immediately knew what it was when I saw the photo?

I believe the Toyota wannabe Cayenne (sounds really weird!), the owner replace the name with 'Kijang' on the bottom left. Indonesian... I wonder why, despite the popularity of Toyota cars there.

Ferrari logos and all those extra-awesome auto zone stick on vents

I agree and no, not bad.
I thought it was very obvious as well.

Exhaust 1: Turbo downpipe. Exhaust 2: Blow-off valve.

Ether that, or it's a ghetto blown front diffuser.

Or maybe they just like the smell of exhaust fumes...

Some great guesses but time for the answer.

ANSWER
On Memorial weekend they are going to do a drawing to see how many minutes it takes to blow this engine up. They will be draining the oil, draining all the coolant, setting a brick on the throttle, and let the countdown begin. I believe the money might go to cherity. But there you have it. Ghetto exhaust for the cars funeral.

...That totally became not questionable.

note a few things
- Prancing horse logo
- Ferrari rims
- Air vent, is that a real one?
- and the spoiler..

Look at the "vents" below the Ferrari emblem too, those do not come with the car.
