The 458 is beautifully sculpted, but they stuck it on a crap car and ruined it.

I'm the only car cultured guy in my class. Then there is a guy who works on turbos with his dad and knows some stuff and engines, a girl who actually is a gamer (a real one by the matter of fact) and knows a fair bit. Nobody knows what a Pagani is.

Pagani in the grand scheme of things is practically a brand new company. Give it a few more decades and it'll be common knowledge, just like Fez and Lambo are now.

Ok I'll go further. They can't really ID a car, only the brand. If they see a MX-5 they don't know what it is.

I mean if prsent them a replica car they'll, even I sometimes do fall they even more so these replica makers (the good ones) can fool half world

I walk away if I hear a ridiculous claim. My uncultured friends realize they've said something wrong when I walk away from a conversation about cars. When I do, they go and research their ridiculous claims....

I don't have the patience to argue about car brands.

Considering my friends think Minis are Fiat 500s, I'd say something vaguely shaped like a Ferrari could fool a lot of regular folks.
There is a Fiero based Testarossa and the used car lot down the street from me. It fooled me when I was driving past. Upon closer inspection the next day it was obvious it wasn't legit.
