That's the oddest choice to make it a rat rod. But interesting.

What would be worse is to butcher a classic muscle car, corvette, or european spprts car. Those are the ones that deserve (not really) those punishments.
 
Exactly, because the old civic should stay in the stock model or nicely tuned. But tune them too much or change the look of them to worse, it's simply an insult.

And I tend to follow the, "If it looks like a duck, and sounds like a duck, it's a duck" method, and it doesn't even look like a C1 any more :lol:

Except that black and white view on the world usually gets you in a mess more times than not and is quite myopic and ignorant. This car is no more a Corvette C1 than a Nationwide Ford Stock car is an actual Mustang. They are shells that are not original factory cars and used and built for specifically racing. There is nothing questionable about that, and the only thing I find questionable, not to be rude, is your actual knowledge of various understanding of car applications.

Not rude at all, people have opinions. And my opinion is that thing sucks :lol:. It may be aerodynamic but it looks like crap.

Yes but the thread is about questionable modifications and every now and then people post something they think is questionable but isn't and thus need to clarify how. You personally thinking it's ugly doesn't make it questionable, there are other threads for that, especially regarding race cars. It's not an opinion that it is a functioning pro-mod C1 look a like it's fact. Running low 6s to high 5 second mark in a quarter-mile at 250+ isn't questionable modifying, it's fine that you don't care for it that's great.
