yeah and spend money on something that i can get the same horespower out of and go throught more work, screw it up easier, blow my motor with a turbo, while with the procharger it would be direct bolt on and if i would blow it up in any process my vq engine would be still in tackt while when u got a turbo u blow it of ur whole engine goes "

Funny you should mention "Golf Ball". Perhaps that was what he was trying to achieve. ;)

Unless your Buick has been modified then yeah, pretty much.

The Maserati's figures (0-60 in 5.6secs, max 168mph) are for a standard production car.
I haven't found a Buick that'll beat that at standard. Although I might be wrong.

The Quattroporte, like all Maserati cars, is built for performance first and then luxury.
People don't normally buy a buick for it's speed thrills.
I like Buicks, don't get me wrong, but you put a Mas and a Buick side by side on a drag strip, both as standard production cars, the Maserati will win every time.
 
I wasn't too sure about the GNX, I've only just found someofficial figures.
Buickgnx.com quotes 0-60 in a prototype model at 4.7 seconds, and standard production models at 5.3 seconds.
Either way acceleration is marginally quicker.

Still not sure about the top end though, quoted at 124mph (restricted) for standard, but capable of around 150mph.

Also a 70 GSX hits 60 in 5.5 sec, and that's on lousy 70s tires.

And if we look at Buick models sold today, a LaCrosse Super goes 0-60 in 5.7 sec according to GM so it is probably a bit faster than that.
 
206 just doesn't look right with those rims. Besides which IMO they're hairdressers cars.

I could live with the Evo easily as long as I had the headlights changed first.

The other thing/Megane/atrocity, JEEEESH! What the hell have they done?
It makes me want to puke. :crazy: :yuck:
