It was for sale about two years ago, and the seller stated it was a real Lotus. If I remember correctly, some of the other photos in the advert showed the engine, and the production number.

But that and F&F started the whole tuner garbage. Which I hate. A lot.

It's been around since before F&F except people actually knew what the hell they were talking about.

Back in the late 90s, there were some pretty decent "tuner" cars. Not exactly the prettiest cars, but better than the ghetto crap that came afterward.
