What's the shortest amount of time someone's been either a forum moderator/administrator excluding tests.

Not here, but I was editor of one online magazine, with moderator access to the sub forums for about six months.

I believe @prisonermonkeys had the shortest stint as a (then-Super) Mod before moving over to Emeritus status. It's a bit easier for me to remember, as he and I (and a few others, like @TB, @niky, @Mike Rotch, and @Jump_Ace) all got our badges at the same, pre-GT5-release time. It's also possible @Speedy6543 might have that distinction.

What is the distinction (if any at all anymore) between a mod and a supermod? Is there any way of us plebians knowing who is the bigger cheese?

The Supermod distinction disappeared with GTP12. It originally applied to mods that swung their banhammers in every section of the site (Mods could only do it in the sections they were assigned to). Now, all mods are inherently super.

I dare a mod to use that and tag me the next time they ban someone.

I can't put a certain amount of time on it TBH.
In GT5 I was racing online like hell.
Did quite some work in the WRS-Online Events back then. That's how a few online racing enthousiasts became mod. Normal mod back then with no 'power' outside the GT5 racing sub-forum. As GT6 came, I lost interest way faster compared to GT5 And at a certain point I was just posting like a normal member here so did the honour myself by setting myself as Staff Emeritus. But again, I can't really set a time on how long I was an active mod here. Could be 2 years, 1.5 years. Probably something along those lines.

Yeah, I only did it for three months around the time GT5 was released, and hated it. It was about two in the morning when I realised that the whole experience has taken all the fun out of the forums.

I think it would be PM.

His end of tenure would have coincided with my return to GTP and when he stepped down, I volunteered to step up from Emeritus back to SM. My first SM'ship was back in '04 I think.

No harness and $50k? Are you out of your freakin' mind? My life ain't worth that little! Hell, Ford's payout for when the Pinto killed someone was 3 times that!

You can't put a price on the risk of someones life on the line. Just no.

Ok...$500,000. Just remember some people are doing this as their job or just for thrills and get payed less than or nothing at all. :D
