I'm level 13 and was wondering what is the best way for me to level up and make loads of money :) At the moment i have been grinding one of the professional races, gives me 21k and ?xp. Are there any quicker ways?? (i have an X1)

Keep doing races? I didn't have to grind until level 28-30+

If you find A Spec isnt doing it for you do the special events.

Oh btw, the X1 is not the answer to levelling up in GT5 until much later on, taking the easy way out at level 13 (LOL!) rings a bell.

Seasonal events at your level give you bang for the buck. If you could score a Ferrari F1 you could get 100K + Credits and 28K plus exp for each race

I agree seasonal events helped me tremendously. Of course they have cut back enormously on the money and xp. I hope PD, Kaz or whoever makes some serious changes with this. How about a freaking car reward....sorry for the outburst, my hands are still shaking from the X1 challenge....I think I need a drink...

Ahh see I left out the Seasonal Events because they had cut back ... But keep an eye on those as the reward may go back up (However I must say, I prefer the events as they are now, why get so much for doing so little?)

Get a F10 or F2007 from a trade and do the Nurburing Special event 35900 xp rewards and 100k+ credits. Then at Level 30 do the Vettel challenge if you get Gold it xp's well. Then comeback and complete the Series. You should have some good credit by then. If you get bored use B-spec for credits and new cars.

I can't argue with that, because I'm thoroughly enjoying the game. But I really hope there are some cars that Kaz adds to the game. Does anyone know why Porshe wasnt added. Would like to see the Carrera GT...

Porsche wasn't added because another games maker has the license for porsche, can't remember who or any more details but I'm sure someone else could fill you in better.

OP is at level 13 and already talking about grinding. I was at level 17 two days after the release. My game progress is now 98% but believe this: getting those 2 % will take way more time and driving than the first 98%. In my opinion A-spec grinding starts at level 33, tsukuba 9 hrs. Also getting that 1000 cars in a garage trophy is a huge effort cos you have to drive an insane amount of laps at Indy oval to get the money for buying those cars. And don't get me started on that Air of experience trophy, 230 races at sunday cup for level 40 Bob.... I give my full respect to everyone who gets Platinum trophy.

No need to be repeating ANYTHING when you are at level 13...I am level 26 A-spec, and I haven't had to repeat a single event, except for rare times when I needed an extra 200k to grab something out of the UCD before it disappeared, I would run once or twice around Indianapolis for the cash grab. I still have many events to do as well.

OP, concentrate your efforts at improving your skills at the game, and try to get golds, or at minimum silvers on all the license and special events challenges. It will prove to a be a much more rewarding experience then driving around in a circle in a vain attempt to get XP and further yourself in the game. If you get into an attitude of always wanting to unlock the next thing without completing what you have available to you, you will never enjoy the game to the fullest.

I give my full respect to everyone who gets Platinum trophy.

Why? They have plenty of free time & have nothing better to do ... How does that gain anyone respect?

I have to agree with both of you. I don't see how you can really give respect to someone that has sat around all the time playing GT5 but then I guess he has golded everything. So you have to give them a little bit of respect knowing they have golded these events but you can't give your full respect to someone playing a video game.

I have golded everything except:

The longest endurance races (Refuse to do them until we get a save feature)
The FGT Championship (Again that will take ages to do so I want a save feature for that aswell)
The Red Bull X1 challenge (Not hugely interested in doing this one, never race the X1 so why bother? Only doing this if PD ever allows me to gold the above ones)

Everything else on the game is gold ... All I can say is, if you can't do it the first time, just try a couple of more times with a couple of different lines (and maybe watch a youtube video) and you will gold it.

you shouldn't be grinding at level 13, their are loads of races to do.

The way I got my money up quick was by letting the B spec bob race when I wasn't at the ps3. Now he's doing endurance events when I go out and his level is 2 higher than my a spec!!

Anyone else than me struggling to get to level 30? I been trying to find some races where I get a decent amount of experience but not succesful so far. I can do the first one in the championship quite simple but it will take me around 100+ races to earn the experience.
Please advice.
