quick question - what size/type screw for mounting G27?

is it an M6? I just need to paint my cockpit, then permanently secure the wheel instead of using the plastic/stock c-clamps on the wheel by themselves.

nevermind. For those looking its M6 for wheel and shifter. If mounting to a 2x8 or 2xwhatever, get 2" long screws and you'll be all set. For some reason mm screwed me up and I picked up a M6x40mm which is a little over 1.5" in length...ARRGH. Also home depot in canada blows a$$ to find any good selection of metric screws/bolts.
