What do you do to make the game days go faster?

I'm currently sitting on my max 20 mil, with no new cars I want to buy, trying to get to my ever elusive Chapparal. (Comes up in 50 game days, so that's 50 races.)

Right now I'm just trying out many of my cars on the grand valley in the Sunday cup Aspec :D

Licences load and leave.

As far as I know, ^ this ^ is the fastest way to make game days pass in GT5.

If you want to race the days away, try any of the 2-lap or 3-lap Sunday Club or Clubman Club races in the Beginner's A-spec or B-spec area. Personally, when I want game days to pass so that I can find a particular car in the UCD, I use it as an opportunity to tune cars that I haven't yet bothered with. I go to the Grand Valley East 2-lap race, not sure exactly where it is but it's not hard to find in the Sunday or Clubman Cup areas.

I tried using your terms and they got me nothing. Scrolled back a few pages and found this:

In that thread (along with somebody criticizing me for saying the search can sometimes not work well and suggesting you search with your thread title first which is good advice in general -- very often it works, sometimes it doesn't and it doesn't like three-letter words) I found a link to this:
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=168084&page=2

And in that thread I found your answer here:
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=7001493#post7001493

I see a couple of people got in while I was searching instead of just telling you the answer. Myself, I don't see the point in hurrying to get a particular car so I just race and keep above 10-15 million all the time. Got pretty much everything that way.

Took five or six minutes since the search wasn't helping me. You're welcome.

Cheers :)

When somebody replied with Load licenses and leave, I just googled something along those lines and got my answer :D

Get in a premium car.
Goto photo travel.
Let your artistic side out. (We all have it. Some more then others..)

Finally got the damn 2J! :D

Better be worth it!

If you want a cash cow, you got the best one. Handles like a red bull just not as fast.

The Washer and Dryer closeout machine is a true X1970. Granted, they've made some improvements in those 43 years, but for all intents and purposes, the car is unbeatable.

For all intents and purposes it is the fastest car in the game

At any PP level you can get it to, it will walk the competition

Yeah, I used it in the 650pp suzuka seasonal. Did great.

Not really. Funny enough, I only needed it for one race. The American Championship in Extreme Bspec, because they have a 2j in there, and none of my cars could win.
And yeah, it handles great! Only tweaked it a little from stock, and it did great. Unfortunately, it'll sit in my collection gathering dust like all my other super cars. :D I've got practically all of them, but I rarely use them.

Yeah, it is a very difficult car to beat, even with the AI driving. Took me a few turns on Cote to best him.lol

Sorry to bump an old thread but if you pass days like this, I thought the AI levels up their intelligence or speed just like in the other GT games? In previous GT games, the more days pass, the harder the AI.

I meant to say it was a cash cow in the seasonals, by de-tuning it.

This has absolutely no effect on the AI.

PD, at some stage changed their behaviour. People were complaining that they wanted more aggressive (faster) AI, so Kaz went & made them literally more aggressive. i.e. They still suck, but now try to take you out when you pass them.

Thank you. That is good news they don't level up anymore as the days progress.

What do you mean load and leave?

If you have the first license, Get into the first challenge again and just press the Next challenge button (or whatever it may be called). Do this 5 or 6 times then exit. If you go into your UCD it will be filled with new cars! 👍
