^he got the idea.
However, the Laguna seca race works better. A car is fully broken in after 200miles. The grand valley is only 186miles![]()
MrMelancholy15Really? I've never had a problem with the Grand Valley race. This is news to me.
10laps there and it's done. While the above options are more efficient, the "quickest" way, is Route X, drafting an X1.
This gives me an idea...
Ahem. The quickest way to B-spec a car to break-in mileage, is have Bob drive the Indy 500 for 75 full laps and quit.
Grand Valley and Laguna Seca can suck on that, taking up to twice as long.
Make sure to exit the race and save the game if you want your miles to stick around though.
Of course the quickest way to a-spec a break-in would be the test course. But you'll need a friend just as bored as yourself to draft, so basically it's simply awful, especially if you're breaking in a low powered car.

MrMelancholy15However, you don't receive money/XP for your B-spec if you quit after 75 laps. There're still 127 (?) more laps to run.

You also have to save after completing any race to keep the miles. A-spec, b-spec, online, offline. Always.Yep Indy is fastest if you want to use Bob and quit in the middle. And yes you have to be SURE to save because those miles will disappear if you just quit the game. Don't ask my how I know...
But I usually use the GV race and my cars have never gained hp afterwards that I can recall.

If money is your object you're better off doing a seasonal. This thread is about breaking in cars.
What's wrong with multi-tasking?
Nevertheless, I said "while you sleep, which generally takes no spare time, and no frustration/boredom will result."
In which case you should do a longer race to win more money. Meaning GV and LS are still not a "good" way to do it.What's wrong with multi-tasking?

You get crap money and 0 xp. A level 40 driver/owner gain exactly 0 xp from every race.Which is why the GV race is perfect. Many cars will win this race, even in the incompetent hands of Bob.
You get your car broken in, and get good xp. Money is crap but you can't have everything.
In my case I've been level 40 in B-spec forever and all my Bobs are level 40 so xp is completely irrelevant.

GV and LS serve their purpose for when you're going to be away for a couple hours, or when you just want break-in miles(and care about getting some extra) and do not care about money, or happen to be going to bed.
Of course that's just what I do.

Sounds as useless for you as it is for me, for exactly the same reasons. That's the opposite of "perfect".
"The Air of Experience" trophy; 200 races?![]()
I speak with good purpose! Don't doubt me just because I SEEM like a retard. You need more proof!

I assumed it was a joke, yes?
I mean, I'm on my third or fourth game save and I made the trophy 10 times over, so I guess I assume by now everyone has managed that one.
You're free to do as you please, I'm not trying to tell you how to play.I got the game in June of last year, and don't really run much B-spec. I run race days, as part of the W.M.A., on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, but, for the rest of the week, I log in, get my log-in bonus, and log out again, unless I'm checking the replays to update points/taking photos for threads etc.
The1WingAngelIs it better to upgrade a 0/0/0 car before or after break in?
dr_slumpBefore because it will drive faster then -> less time needed.
