What did you guys think about it? I'm thinking about getting it. The graphics look pretty good. I'm not sure about the gameplay though. You guys think I should get it???

When I got this game and loaded it up, i was expecting the same quality ive seen in past namco games, mostly in game engine (real fun)
the movies look ok, not like other older namco game
the music is pretty good too, but again, not like other older namco games..
now...the game engine itself = gay. Its sad, because they seemed like they were bieing rushed. especially the rally part of the game, you hit the e-brake and you find you self looking the opposite direction.
its fun for the first 10 min,after that youll fall asleep...

yeah i bought the game thinking it looked pretty cool. but when i played it i was very, very, very dissapointed. i would say probably the worst racing engine ever besides initial d:moutain vengence for pc.

OK, thanks. Do you guys know any other good racing games? Or just plain good games to play? I have a PS2, an OK PC, and a Gamecube. I'm gonna get an XBOX for my birthday in 2 months. Well, I can't choose somthing based on your opinions, so I'll rent it and see how it goes.

well need for speed: hot pursuit 2 is pretty good as well as need for speed: underground. Tokyo Extreme Racer 3 is one of my favorite racing games. id stay away from the wrc ralley game, that one was pretty crappy. ive heard colin macrae rally 3 is good but i havent played it myself. Auto Modelista is kinda different but fun( at least for a while) midnight club 2 is a good amount of fun single player but when it comes to multiplayer each car you earn is better than the last one so you pretty much have to use the same car to make it so races are fair and i find that kinda boring. thats all i can really think of besides the obvious gt3(im assuming you have this if not then this would be the #1 to get)

Thanks guys. Yeah, I have Hot Pursuit 2, Need for Speed: Underground, and GT3. I want to get Tokyo Extreme Racer 3, but I can't get out of the house. We have relatives coming over. Thanks again.
