what's the difference between these 2 modes? I'm guessing one is ranked and one isn't?

Its probably just a filter for the users. It pretty much says if its going to be laid back racing, or real competitive hard core racing... the host chooses which ever describes his room best..

Although, i find it very unprofessional, the way the worded those 2 filters.... It sounds like something that a kid would say, weird! I would've had Easy, Intermediate and Expert....

I think theres some changes on the grip of the track...

Bring this back from the dead. Can anybody tell me what the difference is between racing for fun and racing for real when you start a new online lobby?

Thanks

"Race for real" implies a more competitive atmosphere as well as a better label for organized online events to be known by whereas "Race for fun" would probably imply random sprint races/unorganized and/or no regulation specified runs.

Nothing, it's just a filter to choose from(ie. race for fun is(should be) for more caual racers will race for real is(should be) for more serious racers)

Hope that helps.

Edit-ya bet me to it Jared.
